10/10 makes brain go brrr

Absolutely gorgeous sound. The weight is nice, and the feeling of the keycaps is premium. The switches are heavier than the last keyboard I had, so it takes a little more effort to push the keys down.I'm only having issues with one thing- the drivers not having a GIF editor. I downloaded the drivers from the site and it doesn't have a gif editor in it like I see from every reviewer. Other than that, 0 complaints.

This is Awesome

Bought this for my sons 15 bday for him. This keyboard is awesome! It’s heavy duty and made very well. It’s a smaller key board but that’s what he wanted. It has different settings for lights as well. Very cool keyboard. Worth every penny

Probably the best aluminum chassis mechanical keyboard for under $100

Ordered the XVC K75 Pro (75%) after much debate between it and the XVX M87 Pro (TKL) and for the most part am pleased with my choice of the K75 Pro (75%) with very few gripes, the biggest being it shipping with "Win" keys instead of the "Super" keys shown in all the product photos on Amazon as well as XVX's website. When I placed my order I accidentally left the M87 Pro in my cart so some of the pros and cons listed below cover a comparison between the two for anyone else trying to decide between them.PROS:- Very hefty and rigid aluminum case, feels high quality and makes the M87 Pro feel cheap in comparison. I was tentative about an aluminum mechanical keyboard in this price range ($62.78 on Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale, normally ~$89.99) and worried it may be super thin aluminum but was pleasantly surprised at just how solid the case was.- Exceptionally deep "thocky" key sounds, especially compared to the M87 Pro. I swapped a few of the switches and keycaps to see if that was what made the difference so pronounced, but it was not. They both sounded basically the same as they had. It would appear that the main contributor to the sound difference is the case itself and differences in the gaskets and various fill layers between the two.- The 1.25" TFT screen on the K75 Pro is MUCH better than the identically sized TFT screen on the M87 Pro. While they appear the same in photos and are most likely the exact same screen there are very noticeable differences in brightness and clarity between the two with the K75 Pro's screen being the clear winner. In part this is due to the forward facing 11° tilt mounting of the screen on the K75 Pro vs. the M87 Pro's flush mounting but I believe the primary reason for the very pronounced difference is the K75 Pro uses what seems to be glass as a cover for the screen while the M87 Pro uses some sort of plastic. You can see the difference in crispness and brightness in the attached photo of both keyboards where both still have the protective plastic film on the TFT screen.- LED's on the K75 Pro are noticeably brighter and more color accurate than those on the M87 Pro, in the attached photo of both keyboards they are both set to solid white at 100% brightness. The photo doesn't make the difference as noticeable as it is in person in regards to color accuracy as the photo shows a purplish tinge to the K75 Pro lighting that isn't present in person but it does do a solid job of demonstrating the difference in brightness between the two. The blue'ish tinge to the M87 Pro is slightly noticeable in the photo and in the photo it looks more accurate than the K75 Pro but in person the "white" setting on the M87 Pro is basically cyan while the K75 Pro is a crisp white with none of the purple tinge shown in the photo.- Extremely fast customer service and accommodating customer service, more information on this below in the first point of the "cons" section. Was very pleasantly surprised to get a response within a few hours of sending them a message.CONS:- While it may seem pedantic by far my biggest gripe is that the product I received was not the product pictured in respect to the "Super" key shown in all the photos on both this Amazon listing and XVX's website, nor was there any mention in the product descriptions of it coming with "Win" keys. As a GNU+Linux user I was entirely too excited to have finally found a keyboard that came stock with a "Super" key. Upon unboxing the K75 Pro and seeing the "Win" keys on it I fully expected to find the "Super" key pictured in the listing included amongst the accessories along with some other spare keys, only to be extremely disappointed when they were absent. At time of ordering the fact the K75 Pro had a "Super" key was legitimately what made me pick it over the M87 Pro despite the fact I really wanted a keyboard with a knob to control the volume of my system. Obviously at time of ordering I had not been hands on with both keyboards, and now that I have I would pick the K75 Pro over the M87 Pro 10/10 times (regardless of it having the "Super" key or not) just because of how superior the K75 Pro is in almost all respects, it's still very disappointing to not get what you were shown in the product photos and description especially when it's something you were so excited about as I was about the "Super" key. (EDIT: My wife kept stealing the keyboard when I wasn't using it because she liked it so much so I ordered her one in purple and when it arrived I was shocked to see the accessories box had a bag of spare keys in different colorways including the "Super" key. I reached out to Amazon Customer Support who referred me to HITIME and I've sent them a message about mine not including them. Apparently only the purple and blue models come with spare keys, Greige (what I ordered) and the various wave theme ones do not and the inclusion of the "Super" key in the photos was a mistake by their product photographer. The "Win" key is the standard configuration. They've offered me a partial refund of approximately 10% of purchase price to make up for this which in my opinion is more than fair and will be going toward one of their keycap sets that does include a "Super" key.)- No fold out feet to increase the typing angle. It's a minor gripe and I knew about the lack of fold out feet when ordering as the bottom of the K75 Pro was clearly shown in the product photos but I didn't realize just how much I preferred a higher typing angle until I was trying the K75 Pro side by side against the M87 Pro and my Masterkeys S, both of which have fold out feet. It's something I'll most likely be able to adjust to over time or will 3D print something to deal with but I much preferred the typing angle of the M87 Pro with the feet folded out although not nearly enough to pick it over the K75 Pro.- LED color accuracy. While the LED backlight color accuracy and brightness is much better than the M87 Pro especially for solid white the overall color accuracy isn't great. The solid "purple" setting is more of a hot pink bordering on magenta, the solid "orange" setting is more yellow than orange, and the solid "yellow" setting has a heavy green tinge to it. This is pretty typical for presets even with big name brands like Corsair or Razer but with the K75 Pro the color accuracy of certain preset solid colors is noticeably worse than you would see from brand like Corsair or Razer. You can usually tune this to be more accurate in software but that brings me to my next point.- Proprietary software is Windows and MacOS only. While I have not tinkered with it myself yet and knew at time of purchase from what I'd read/seen in other reviews of the XVX K75 Pro both here and on YouTube there is no Linux version of their proprietary software nor support for open source software like VIA, QMK, OpenRGB, or Aurora. I will be testing with all of the various FOSS keyboard software I just listed and will update this review with my findings but unless QMK works with the K75 Pro without tons of tinkering you'll be stuck using their proprietary software to do anything in regards to the TFT screen. In the case of Linux users this means spinning up a Windows VM just to change the saved to keyboard RGB profiles or add GIF's unless the proprietary software works with some sort of Wine wrapper which is doubtful. UPDATE: That's a no go on all the above mentioned software without some extreme tinkering.- Not a true 75% keyboard yet there's wasted space that if utilized would allow for additional ledgers on existing function keys for use as combined function keys via "FN" key modifier as they'd no longer be taken up by TFT screen control functions. Typically a 75% keyboard is an 81-key to 84-key layout which still includes the more important function keys like "Print Screen", "Insert", and "Home" but the K75 Pro is an 80 key layout. This is somewhat expected as the TFT screen occupies 2U of space but it would have been nice if F1-F12 and the TFT screen were shifted 1U to the left eliminating the 1U gap between "ESC" and "F1" allowing for a 1U volume/TFT screen control knob allowing combined function keys via "FN" key modifier such as "DEL/END" where "FN"+"DEL" would be "END" or "INSERT/HOME" where "FN" + "INSERT" would be "HOME".- Seemingly nowhere to buy the battery upgrade as shown in product photos. I've looked all over Amazon, XVX's website, and even googled the model # shown on the battery in the product photos and can't find a replacement/secondary battery anywhere so at the moment as far as I can tell the only way to get a battery upgrade is to order a second keyboard and harvest the battery from it which would make that second keyboard wired only.Overall the K75 Pro (75%) a very nice keyboard, I'd even go so far as to say extremely nice when the price point is considered, and puts my previous $139.99 MSRP CoolerMaster Masterkeys Pro S (TKL) Cherry MX Blue and $159.99 MSRP Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Cherry MX Speed (100%) to shame in every respect. If you're debating between it and the M87 Pro I would definitely recommend the K75 Pro unless the volume/TFT control knob on the M87 Pro is something you just can't live without. The K75 Pro definitely has some stuff that could be improved like having a smaller version of the TFT control/volume knob on the M87 Pro, but to me the knob on the M87 Pro is nowhere near enough to outweigh the K75 Pro being leagues better in every other respect.

Great quality, sound, and functionality for a reasonable price

Overall impression:Keyboard sounds better than any other keyboard I've ever had. The construction is also top notch with very thick PBT keycaps that have a very nice "thocky" sound to them when they're pressed. The case is solid aluminum and very heavy, which is great if you have problems with your keyboard moving around on your desk when you type. The weight combined with the thick PBT keycaps and already tuned internals leaves you with a great out of the box keyboard. LEDs look great and have quite a few settingsGripes:I had the same issue as another user with the screen cover coming off when I removed the protector, but I popped it right back in and the cover hasn't been an issue since. One other minor gripe I have is that the LEDs automatically default to the same setting when the keyboard is turned on, but I'm pretty sure that there is a fix that can be installed with the XVX software. The LCD screen is a nice feature, but you need to download their software to change the GIF or any macros which may be irritating for some people (software is not available on mac which I didn't know until after I got the keyboard... it was lucky that I also had a windows computer).Bottom line: None of these gripes are remotely close to deal breakers for me and the K75 has been my new daily driver - if you can get this keyboard on sale for $60-$80 its a steal as you can't find another keyboard that sounds as good and with such high quality anywhere

Great keyboard, great customer service

Having owned this keyboard for several months, I can easily say it's been a fantastic experience. For around 70 bucks, you are not getting an aluminum keyboard with all these features anywhere else. The value is unmatched. The sound and typing experience is also great. I did have a small issue, and the seller was very quick to respond, easy to work with and gave me amazing customer service. If value and customer service are things that are important to you, look no further than this brand/keyboard!
