Keeps an Intel i5-12400 cool
I installed this on an intel i5 12400 and the temps on idle was showing 29-30 degrees so I'm happy with that. The cooler does not obstruct the ram slots but it probably will overhang the m2 slot and I only realised once I had put the cooler on - doh! On the plus side when I had to remove the cooler to install the ssd I could see that the paste applied indicated very good coverage on the cpu. With my novice building experience the LGA1700 cpu locking arm can conflict with the mounting assembly, you can just about operate the locking arm but its a tight squeeze so probably best to install the cpu first. (that may have been in the instructions, but who uses those eh?)No LEDs on this but thats ok and the black finish on the top looks great, 4 pipes and chunky enough to indicate it means business.Bearing in mind this cost £25 and performs equally to more expensive air coolers out there, this is one to put on a shortlist of options.

Amazing performance!
Fantastic! Great price and amazing performance.I get 68°C on my 7600x in gaming, 40°C at idle in a NZXT H5 Flow case. Runs very quiet too. Some AIOs couldn't achieve that. Would recommend this for any build, there are brackets for LGA sockets as well as AM4 and 5 so it'll work with any modern board. If you've got a big tower like the H7, get the next size up of this with two fans and you won't go wrong.

Very impressive cooling ability
This product looks like a beast when unboxed but it installed easily and produced a 40 Deg C drop in operating temperature on my PC's CPU, which I had upgraded but the previous CPU's heatsink&fan did not cope with the higher temp. The performance improvement was very noticeable. There is a YouTube video showing how to install this cooler which was very helpful in fitting the unit correctly.

Beats an AIO
I had a 240mm top mounted AIO from a well established brand, and it did well with a 5,600 x, keeping the idle temps around 60 C and gaming temps at around 75C. It's a hot running chip anyway, so this wasn't beyond the norm. However this direct fan cooler not only keeps its own against the AIO, but has dropped my temperatures by around 7° at gaming and around 3° at idle, New temps hovering around 50-55C, in gaming temps never spiking above 72 C. In addition, the AIO fans were quite loud and noisy even at low speeds, just because of the fan choice that they had made at production car whereas the fans on this are almost silent at lower speeds, however they really do have some performance at high speeds, providing temperatures really low. Installation is only as easy as you are experienced, however there's nothing particularly difficult about this one compared to other tower mounts, and overall I think this is an absolute legendary cooler. If it cools the 5600X, it will cool anything besides the latest extreme power hogs

Another quality cooler from ID
I used this for my spare/server PC (using an old i7 6700K on an LGA1151 motherboard) to replace the older NH-U12A heat sink on it. Now, I only did this because this is a 10-year-old PC, and the Noctua felt a little overkill for its current usage. But again, ID-COOLING continues to surprise me with how good their products are. While there isn't any gaming done on this particular PC any more, it more than handles the cooling duties of high CPU demands, like 4K streaming, and some offload rendering I put on this computer when I need to allocate more processes to my main PC. Seriously, it's a beast of a cooler, in such a small, cheap package.I use their ID-COOLING FROZN A620 PRO SE in my main build, which again, replaced my Noctua NH-D15. For the price, these coolers just embarrass the Noctua range, offering similar performance, for a fraction of the price. Very good.

Cool
I got this to replace a stock wraith cooler for my Ryzen 7. I was reaching temps of 90c with my old cooler and was thermal throttling. This was easy to install and came with the brackets for the am4 motherboard. It also came with some good quality thermal paste. I've ran some of my games and I'm peaking at 67c now so massive difference and I'm not longer thermal throttling. Highly recommended if you want a good quality air cooler

A superb air cooler for value and sufficient for most CPUs
This is an amazingly good value product and very few of us need something more expensive than this. Unless you have a very recently released CPU or one that's about to be released, this should be more than sufficient. It works with both Intel and AMD platforms and more than one generation but note you need to position it correctly since AMD's chips are hotter at one end than in the middle. That's not a big issue but does mean you should read the instructions carefully and watch online advice if you want to understand what's going on and what different your placing will make.I definitely don't have a CPU that can cause a problem with this, but it's improved the performance of the old gear I have, and will be more than capable for my next upgrade which will merely be a last generation AMD X3D that's the best I can find (or if I can't upgrade soon, a lower end one from the new generation about to come out as I write this in late 2024). Realistically, even if I did get the top end new chip my own usage would never stress this cooler as I'm really not into cutting edge games anyway. It's easy to fit, and if you look up reviews from true experts, which I'm definitely not though I have been building my own PCs for twenty years or so, you'll find glowing ones for the Frozn coolers in general, particularly on their value. If you want a little more cooling, their higher end versions should probably be on your short list of products to look at. Personally I'm agnostic on cooling - all I care about is price to performance and whether it physically fits my case, motherboard and so on. I certainly wouldn't reject their coolers in the future on the based of the quality of this one.
