Bought for my dad, who did national service in Hong Kong. He loves looking at the pictures bringing back memories. The print is not good

i bought this for my son in law s 60th birthday, he had lived there when he was a teenager , the pictures were wonderful and it told the story of hong kong history

Just what I wanted. Light reading, a lot of old pictures compared to today, and interesting facts on the city's history. Such an interesting city compared to London!

The Book "Hong Kong Then and Now" was recommended to me, hence my search on Amazon, when I received the book it actually exceeded my expectations for the price, being hard back, covering nearby islands and provinces too.

Lovely coffee table book. Already out of date because Hong Kong changes so quickly but the historic photos are brilliant.

should of ordered the shanghai book as well but should could would is a great thing
