This was recommended by my dentist to use in conjunction with flossing and brushing to help reduce plaque build up. It gets right between the teeth and takes out and food particles with ease and no discomfort. I used it after meals as well. It makes cleanings so much easier as it does reduce plaque build verses just flossing and brushing alone.

I have used these that came in a smaller package and liked them. It is nice they are offered in bulk like this, to save money. My teeth are tightly close and they work much better than floss for me.
