Behringer MicroHD HD400 Ultra-Compact 2-Channel Hum Destroyer, Silver

It has done its job. I had a Pyle pro DI, which reduced almost 80% of hum on my ensemble of a mixer, a 75w preamp, Equalizer and 100W front end amp. Now I placed this HD400 just in front of my Guitar like Pros do and it killed all the rest of 20% noise left early. Now on my Line 6 processor, the High Gain with flanger and Tremelo, the Brit tube amp of Slash, was giving problems, when the Fender Twead Ted Nugent and British Clean of Jimmy Hendrix was perfect with no hum. So I reduced the compression on this Slash High Gain Amp model MarshallPlexi and the hum just vanished to give me smooth output. So now the problem is completely solved, I am having a great time with my ensemble of processors and pedals. Thanks, Bheringer for again another satisfaction from your designs.

Brilliant. Compact, well designed and does its job flawlessly

So I got it today, I am using it pre irt120, instead of decreasing the "noise" it actually added a lot of resistance and took away almost half the sound. Also, when I asked for the refund the amazon executive who came to pick it up refused to do it as the unit was labeled black but as I got a silver one I am stuck with this useless piece of equipment.

It does its job

This product was totally useless for me. You can only exchange and no refund. This was giving me electric shocks so returned it. Now got a new unopened product lying with me. I solved the my hum issue by converting my 2 pin european to 3 pin Indian as soon as the grounding was done issue was solved. This product is totally useless and generates more noise than reduce it.

This is makes my sound more noisy. Its noise generater rather than destroyer. It is opposite what is says.

it is not eliminating low frequency hum.

Have a home studio setup based around a large Eurorack synth system. Been nagged on and off with noise and hum problems for a long time and could never find the cause. Recently a more comprehensive investigation into the difficulty seemed to indicate a likely ground issue. Plugged my Eurorack output into this little gem and eureka! Silence! No noticeable degradation of fidelity. There are more expensive versions of what is probably the same basic circuitry, so no matter your opinion of Behringer (mine is improving) this gets my vote.

Die Line Di Box trennt dabei den Massebezug von unsymmetrischen Audioquellen auf , so das Brummschleifen und die damit verbundenen Brummsignale aber auch Störungströme der Schaltnetzteile von Computern , Audio Interfaces usw. unterbrochen werden .Dadurch verschwinden die durch diese Ströme erzeugten Störsignale wie Brummen, höherfrequentes Bratzeln , usw. nahezu vollständig.Die im Gerät verwendeten Transformatoren sind im Frequenzgang tadelos und von guter Qualität .Das Gerät selbst kann kein Rauschen erzeugen wie in anderen Rezensionen behauptet wird , es ist rein passiv .Bei mir im Tonstudio haben sie die aktiven Studiomonitore perfekt vom Rechner und vom Audiointerface entkoppelt.Aber auch vor 2 Gitarrenverstärkern die im Stereo Setup beim gemeinsamen Anschluss an eine Quelle sofort eine Ground Loop mit wahrnehmbaren Brummen erzeugt haben , war nach dem Zwischenstecken des Brummkillers Totenstille und der Sound trotzdem hervorragend.Durch das stabile Metallgehäuse ist das Teil gut gegen elektro-magnetische Einstahlung von außen und gegen mechanische Belastung geschützt.Das Teil gehört in jeden Service- oder Mikrofonkoffer.

I had an awful amount of noise in my right speaker that was coming from my laptop when it was connected to my audio interface.Adding this box between my interface and thr speakers got rid of it completely with no loss of volume or audio quality.I'm really happy and so impressed by it, I would recommend it to anyone facing similar issues with their setups.Simple to connect, good quality, takes up a tiny amount of desktop space and for the price it provides great value.
