The holder/receptacle is okay, but my dresser is wood. Suction cups don't stick to wood.Although the design of the comb is a good idea, I didn't find it that useful because my hair is too fine.My hair just slips right thru the comb. The teeth on the comb are too wide apart to get any traction.However, if you have very thick hair or curly hair that you flat iron, it might help you.I would also think the comb would work well on thick AA hair in it's natural state and help w/ straightening.

I returned this item because I couldn't find any proof of wether the holder was heat resistant or just the case. Some of the plastic iron holders are just for storage, and I think this may be one of those. I didn't want to chance my Chi on it. It was nicely made. The comb pulled out my hair.

Great accessory if you own the style house flat iron. Not sure if it will fit with other flat irons. It also comes with a comb which I don't use. Best price you will find is on Amazon. I did price comparision before buying.

Not a big fan of the comb. Also the holder doesn't stick to the mirror real well, it will fall off every couple of days.

The stand works great for my flat iron. I do not like the comb. Snags my hair and a little to big.

The box was opened already as I took it out of the shipping box. Other tan that, no other complaints.

I don't like it

I like it, I no longer have to turn the flat on/off while I do each section of my hair. You can leave the hot iron on while it sits in the holder or Ion the heat resistant case. I would recommend it to others.
