I bought this looking for a cute butter dish, and it's just that! The dish is big enough to fit the big cubes of Irish butter in. It is easy to clean with soap and water. The packaging it came in was super protective, so there was little chance of it breaking! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a cute, and simple butter dish by a small business.

This dish is more sturdy and beautiful than I expected. It was selected because my wife loves light purple, but also has a collection of Yellow Ware bowls. This complements her bowls perfectly. Thank you!

I search around for several days looking for a new covered butter dish, and this one was the one that made me stop looking. My requirements were simple, large enough for the European butter squares yet have a small foot print, a cover with a knob, and a simple decorative paint theme. Most other butter dishes looked at were large enough for the block butter yet the overall outer dimensions were unnecessarily too large and wasted precious counter space. My wife also loved the simple humble hand painted art on the lid, not gaudy or too busy. We are very pleased with the overall design, size, and lovely artistry and will recommend to others and friends.
