I received my Bee Balm seed packets before the anticipated date. Packaging was pretty and a lot of great information on the plant itself, it’s use, planting indoors as seedlings and outdoors in the garden. Watering, soil preparation, daily sunlight needs, germination times, and what insects would attracted to these flowers (bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, etc)Really detailed no fail instructions. I was throughly pleased. This packet had 300 seeds in it! Beautiful array of flower colors.Worth every penny.I haven’t planted them yet, plans for my Memorial Day weekend, no more frost.I marked easy to grow as 5 stars because I believe these will be no fail and be as good as everything else was. I recommend this seed company for others and I will buy from them again!

Decent germination rate (not the best I've had, but certainly not terrible). Once the seedling establish they are quick growers. Mine are getting very close to blooming I cannot wait to see what colors I have. Sidenote: I'm not sure if it was wind (doubtful) or critters, but I have 2 bee balms growing in my quite heavily mulched rose bed just beside the bee balm, so I would say these are pretty good seeds. Hoping I can move them to fill in one empty spot. Also this is probably the only wildflower I planted from seed that looks like it will flower this year, so that's another plus.

I tried several different ways of sprouting these seeds - just throwing them in my irrigated garden beds, inside in a pot, inside in a paper towel. None of them ever sprouted.

Everything seems good. Just waiting for spring to be able to sow seeds.

Extremely well packaged and labeled. I love that the package is labeled with the common plant name and latin name (species), and full thorough instructions. The package is actually quite beautiful, with a lovely drawing of the flower. I live in Massachusetts and it is winter. I am purchasing seeds to plant in spring, in my very large medicinal herb garden. Not only will this plant be beautiful, but beneficial for homemade remedies! I'm very pleased with the amount of seeds I received and I have ordered more seeds from Seed Needs. I will update this review with pictures this summer, when plants are in full bloom! If I have any issues with germination, I will update for that as well.

I needed these seeds for my garden.

They didn't grow. I have a pretty green thumb and bee balm is super basic. Should be a no brainer. If they do end up just taking forever and actually grow, I'll update.

These will be planted in about 10 days from now. I'm going to have BeeBalm (Monarda) all over the yard in flower beds for the Humming Birds. Most all of my plants are for them and this will give them a lot more to choose from. If you want litter Hummers all over your flowers, this is a great start because they LOVE them. The leaves are also wonderful in tea when dried. The flowers self seed so there will be more every following year if you don't disturb the ground. Deer are not really that interested in eating them. They have an herb smell so they tend to be avoided.
