Try This Before Any Other
Tried a number of so-called self adhesive flashing tapes which wouldn't stick to timber as stated. This one is great. It's thicker that most and doesn't go brittle in sun/heat, and sticks to timber almost immediately.

Great for sealing felt roofs on sheds
This butyl tape sealant is ideal for sealing felt on the front and rear apex of sheds. The tape is very sturdy.Ideally, you need to iron the tape down (silver side up) through a dish cloth to melt the adhesive fully onto the felt. You may also use a heat gun or hairdryer.

Effective Waterproof Tape with Versatile Applications
I recently used the Fowong Waterproof Tape for various sealing projects and here’s my detailed review:Pros:Strong Adhesion: The butyl tape offers excellent adhesion, sticking firmly to a wide range of surfaces, including metal, glass, and plastic. It holds up well in both indoor and outdoor applications.Effective Waterproofing: This tape performs exceptionally well in sealing leaks and preventing water ingress. It's ideal for roof sealant, window frames, and boat repairs, providing a reliable barrier against moisture.Generous Length: With a length of 5 meters, the roll provides ample tape for multiple projects or larger areas, making it a good value for the price.Ease of Use: The tape is easy to apply, thanks to its flexible nature. It conforms well to irregular surfaces and can be cut to size with regular scissors.Cons:Width Limitation: At 100mm wide, the tape may be too broad for smaller, more detailed applications. For narrower gaps or precision work, you might need to cut the tape or use a different size.Initial Stickiness: While the tape adheres well over time, some users might find that it takes a bit of time to fully set and bond. It’s important to press down firmly and ensure good contact during application.Durability in Extreme Conditions: Although the tape is generally durable, it may not hold up as well in extremely harsh weather conditions or intense UV exposure over extended periods. Regular checks and maintenance might be needed in such environments. Conclusion:The Fowong Waterproof Tape is a highly effective solution for sealing leaks and waterproofing various surfaces. Its strong adhesion, ease of use, and generous length make it a versatile tool for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. While it might have some limitations regarding width and initial stickiness, it performs well for most sealing applications. If you need a reliable waterproof tape for outdoor or indoor use, this product is a solid choice.

Better items on the market
Ideal if it’s for a straight pipe but not great on joints. Didn’t work as it’s says it does.

Waterproof tape.
Every time it rains, the lean too gets wet. I have tried many things to try and stop the rain getting in. This seems to have done the trick. The tape is manageable and easy to rip.

Sticks well
General does the adhesive - fiddle to peel the fabric off.

Seems to work
I got this to cover the clout-head nails that are holding down my shed-roof felt. That seems to be a place where water gets in.Being February with cold and damp weather, I applied my blow-torch to the existing roofing felt to warm it up and dry it out, then applied this waterproof strip. On a cold February day at least, It's not too messy when you first handle it, although the backing paper is a bit flimsy and keeps tearing. Once in place on the warm felt, the glue seems to get more "guey", especially when you apply a little heat to help it on its way.So far so good. It stuck in place well and it feels like its going to work.
