I am a watercolor artist who has tried out several different plein air/travel easels and kits. I’ve finally found one I find ideal. Compact, extremely easy to sit up, travels well, hold a ton of paint tubes, plus secures my glass palette. It’s ideal.

I was looking for a nearly-upright easel that could hold my iPad pro without removing it from its Zugu case. I think I found it! It fits both orientations and it's nice and stable while drawing. The easel has little rubbery feet to help it stay put on my desk.

Exactly what I needed

My siblings and I purchased this set for my father who recently retired. He uses it often and is slowing teaching himself to paint as a hobby. Great for a start up kit. Great selection of brushes and paint.

As stated above, it’s great for what it is.I saw in other reviews that people were whining about the wood and silly little stuff. FFS, if you want something spectacular, pay waaay more or make it yourself.It’s a great balance of form, function, and quality!I’m not a professional artist or a whiney little git.I think it’s a great looking, functional piece of equipment.Happy with this?

Very nice for both using while painting and storing my paints and brushes. I’m a newb so can’t say what an actual artist would think of it, but if you’re just painting for relaxing or fun, this’ll do ya. I like that I can pack everything into the box to store.

I love everything about this portable tabletop easel from it's size to how well everything fits inside. The brushes and paints are nice too. Great gift for any age artist.
