OXO SteeL Cocktail Strainer

Blocks the ice. What a miracle.

Does what it's supposed to do well.Also found it's a great tool for keeping cats from drinking water out of the glass you left on the table. It's frankly gotten more use as a cat defender than a drink strainer.

I've had good experiences with OXO kitchen tools, and this is no exception. This strainer works well, fits my mixing glass perfectly, and is easy to clean. The spring is durable and thicker than many cheaper strainers.

This hawthorne strainer by OXO is a wonderful piece of gear that every home bartender should own. The rubberized finger grip prevents slipping, even when things get sloshed with sugary booze, and the handle is compact and out of the way. After seeing this design, a long-handled strainer doesn't make sense.

I love that this strainer is exactly what it’s supposed to be. It is lightweight but sturdy. I have had compliments from other bartenders that think it works great. It’s not too flashy, but it doesn’t leak or cause any issues. I also have not had the wire fall off on me yet. I’m a big fan. If anything, I might drill a hole in the handle someday so that I can hang it in the bar on a hook.

Fits overs the mouth of a cocktail mixing pitcher or a glass and serves its purpose. A little high priced for what it is.

Solid, not Cincy at all! Used it lots already and it works fantastic.
