Not many people have use for eye pads but if you do, these are good and come with a self opening seal so you don’t need scissors. Very handy. Also the gauze is soft and doesn’t irritate the skin around the eye

Eye injury can be a serious matter, even if it is just a matter of foreign material contamination that can be irrigated out. By using these soothing protection can be provided to allow the eye to rest, or in conjunction with a rigid eye shield to allow transfer to definitive care while protecting the eye from further injury.I build emergency kits that sometimes include eye shields depending on the mission of the kit, and I always include these for every shield. Besides the physical barrier of the eye shield there often needs to be light protection or the need for a moist compress. These serve admirably.I can imagine some very minor changes that might take these to a 5-star rating but I will give them a 4-1/2 all day. Unlike common gauze pads they don't have the problem of loose threads, they are properly shaped for the eye, and they are soft and non-irritating.

I purchased these to use as mini castor oil packs for which they work perfectly. I can use each several times by adding more castor oil and they hold up nicely.

They were kinda thinner than I expected
