Works on my 2014 Mazda6
After the check engine light came illuminated and my car started to idle roughly and at times stalling, I broke out my old OBD2 scanner to see what the issue was. Well, the scanner returned the P0172 fault code. After a few Google and Youtube searches about the code and the fixes, the MAF sensor came up the most probable cause for the check engine light coming on. Knowing that taking in to the shop was going to cost me at least $300 to fix it, I decided to give a shot myself and bought this MAF sensor for under $25. It took me about 2 minutes to install it. After resetting the ECU, the check engine light has not come back on and the car is idling normally. So far its been ten days since I replace MAF sensor. Hoping it lasts for awhile, if not I'll just probably replace it with a much more expensive OEM sensor.Update: 10/25:It been over 6 months since the sensor was replace and I have not had any issues since. The check engine light has not lit up again and the car has been idling normally. For $25, I think I have gotten my money worth.Update: 5/25/24:The sensor has been functioning without any issues for a year now. If you are the fence about getting an after market no-name brand MAF, I can tell you that this $25 MAF is just as good as the OEM. Even OEM MAF's can fail prematurely.

2013 Mazda CX-5
My 2013 Mazda CX-5 was hitching and jerking on the way back from a two hour ride home from the beach. I was worried it was the transmission. I did some research and found out it could be the MAF. I decided to try this before spending money getting it checked out at a mechanic. It just arrived and it fixed the problem! My car has 157K miles so it probably wouldn't be worth putting in a new transmission, so I am greatly relieved. The question is how long will it last. I paid $30 for this. If it stops working I'll buy the expensive one, at least I know what the issue is.

Reseller is knowingly selling defective components
This is an obvious attempt to sell an original part as a new working part. In the image you can clearly see the original has the Mazda M logo while the sellers version has sanded it off. Same serial number and model as the original as well. It was defective out of the box reporting out of range values for air temperature on my sensor. Do not buy this. Amazon should remove this item.

So far so good. Fixed my P0172 code on 2017 cx5
Honestly, great product for the price. The only negative reviews on here are because people didn't do proper research to double check what part they needed prior to purchasing. It had the same markings as the OEM part, had a nice fit, and worked. I was having a P0300 random misfire code and P0172 bank 1 idling rich code.Plug 2 get kept getting fouled, replaced all plugs and number 2 coil pack, better, but not fixed, plug 2 fouled again. Replaced MAF sensor with this unit and the problem was fixed. O'Reilly s wanted like 130 for a non OEM part and the dealer like 180. If the OEM failed at 40k, why would I spend the cash on getting one. All in all, good product.

Stopped Working After 10 Months
You get what you pay for. I suggest you but 2 or more of this part and keep them in your toolbox as spare in case your car fails to start. That's exactly what happened yesterday. This is a common issue with my Mitsubishi Mirage. I'm glad I kept the old MAF and I was to get the car started.

Working as expected in my 2013 Mazda 3 HB
The original OEM unit died on a 103 degree summer day. This unit was much less expensinve than what Mazda Dealership wanted, and either it is an original Mazda OEM or a great knock off.It is working just as expected and I have not had a problem with it over the last three months it has been installed.
