Q: Will the zipper hold in a negative air environment?

Yes. Our zippers are built to hold Considerably better than disposable zippers. Our mounting strips are fully back with high grade adhesive , built with higher gauge zipper and are essentially jam proof by design. How much negative air are you running? Even our magnetic version (the RE-U-ZIP +Magnetic ) can even hold up to 7 pascal of neg air pressure ! The zipper will likely hold more negative air than you will be running.

Q: can i use this on a net? and outside?

We have not tested for prolonged time outside but many customers are buying for this purpose currently. As long as the mounting strip sticks to whatever surface you intend to attach it to it should work.(we use a high grade adhesive) If needed an outdoor vinyl tape could be used to reinforce as longer-term exposer in sun and rain has not been verified yet.

Q: What length is the zipper?

Total length of product is 79". Actual zipper is 77" stop to stop.

Q: What is the width of the velcro?

It is two inches wide and fully covered with adhesive unlike disposable zippers giving you a solid grip on the poly .
