Takes a bit to get on (silicone can be a bit 'grippy') but it's super soft and cushions extremely well. It can be a bit tough go get a sock on because the silicone grips the fabric when you try to pull it on, but man-o-man does it relieve the pain! It also aligns the little toe to keep it from tucking under the toe next to it. It;s easy to wash and the included spreader inserts are a very nice addition.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I started using these bunion pads for the pain on the outside of my foot by my little toe. Most of my shoes press right on that spot, and after walking a while it starts hurting. When I put the pad on, it feels soft and gives a little cushion so my toe doesn’t rub against the shoe. Sometimes I use the little shim piece if I want to space my toe out more. The material stretches, so it fits right over my toe and stays in place most of the day, but sometimes I use a bit of tape so it won’t slip off if I’m working a lot.I wash the pad with soap and water after using it and let it dry overnight. The pain is less with the pad on, and I can walk longer without feeling that sharp pressure. It’s small, so I can carry an extra one in my pocket if I need it. I still have to take breaks if I walk too much, but it helps me get through the day.

This product is soft and feels ok to wear. I am a size 12 men’s shoe and the medium size fit much better than the large (they exchanged it for me) I tried to wear it with shoes on and it caused more foot pain, so it’s not meant for that. Update after one month: I haven’t noticed any improvements with my foot after using this product. I think the only fix for a tailors bunion is getting wider shoes..

I broke my little toe: what an incredible pain! I was looking for something that would give me relief. I stumbled on this pinky toe straightner.. when you are in pain you go for anything. My toe is tiny so I got the "regular" size but I should have purchased the small -- However, by the time I trimmed and shaped it to fit my baby toe I did realize it gave me some relief because it gave me some protection from the bumps around the house. I was able to use it wearing my flip flops and it became my go to rather than the taping up I had been using. I will say the pain is better because it stays stationary--even though it is a weird soft plastic. It cuts well and you can do some shaping. I picked a color that looks beige. I went to the doctor yesterday and xrays show the toe is healing in a straight position so I guess this has really helped. I do believe if I broke my baby toe again I would purchase this product PS corresponded with the sellers and they were top notch --very helpful.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:After I read the reviews and saw online that this product can be used for broken pinky toe I went ahead and bought it. After trying it, it actually strained my pinky toe more and made it worse. Stick to just buddy taping. Only reason I’m giving it a 2 star is because the original use for this is correction not broken pinky toe.

1st time, don't wear for more than half hour. My toe got red and sore. But at 1st it felt Great!!!! So I will use it around the house. Until I'm use to it. I bought a cloth one too. I'm wearing now. Package said wear half hour also 1st time.
