I'm kind of blown away with this lens.
For an inexpensive lens the image quality is pretty impressive. To me it has an almost an old film lens quality to it. Wish I had purchased this lens sooner.

A solid portrait-length lens
Impressively well-constructed for the price. It doesn't look or feel as cheap as I expected it to. I'm not a pro photographer, but the optics seem more than sharp enough for my needs. The equivalent 85mm focal length is best suited for portraits but I find that it can also be a decent walkabout lens at times. I really like this lens. Yes, the Panasonic 42.5mm lens is sharper and it includes image stabilization...but the Yongnuo is much less expensive and it's surprisingly good for that price.

Makes everything alive look dead.
I am not thrilled with this lens. It isn't extremely sharp and for some reason it makes the temperature of photos very cold. All that it really does for me is reminds me why I should have bought a better lens in the first place. The resulting pictures look like something from a disposable camera. I can't recommend this lens, unless you are super poor and are willing to settle.

Mine didn't work
Not sure why, but this lens didn't work at all with my Olympus EP5. I was so excited to get it, but the one I received was a dud. I wound up getting the Olympus 45mm F 1/8 lens used for around the same price and it's great. Good luck if you're purchasing this one.
