Works like it should
I like how the wiring was plenty enough to go from the rear of vehicle and into cab and had protection for the wire. Although the instructions could be better for those who are doing this for the 1st time. For example: there was to tiny wires one white one green one was for grid lines and another was for picture there was no instructions on what these 2 wires do or what would happen if they were cut. ( I didn’t cut mine) I used electrical tape to protect the wire from the camera its self and all the way to the 12v and ground wire for extra protection. The fit was spot on I did have to drill into the tail gate to get the camera to sit in. And same for the wire. The quality is good especially for it being under a hundo. The appearance looks like it’s stock which is definitely a plus makes it look like ford put it there. It performs as it should and I like how I have a visual of the hitch as well and got a good visual of the road as well so you can definitely see cars coming. You cand adjust this once you get this camera bolted in it’s done.im happy with the purchase I hope it continues to work as it should. It definitely was a pain getting wire through the tailgate fishing it through the cab under the vinyl floor mat through the dash and finally through the dash for the stereo. All wires are hidden so I made it look like a professional install.

Fits snug
A great replacement for my F150. Fit great and seals. Glad I didn't pay a fortune on different one

Camera cable is really long
Over all this is a great product. The 4 star rating is only because the plastic piece that pushes on the lever to open the tailgate is flimsy. Every time I open my tailgate, the piece bends. I am expecting it to break over time. If it does, I will update this review with the approximate times I opened my tailgate. Otherwise, the camera is great quality. I have a 2011 F-250 crew cab and was concerned about buying a camera with enough cable to make it into my dash. I ran the wire following the factory wiring until I reached the fuel tank. I then crossed over the frame, went up through the floorboard grommet, back to the left paneling, and around the steering column in the dash. This was the long way through, but best hidden and protected. By the time I got ti the stereo, I had about 6-8 feet leftover. I also left about 2 feet inside the tailgate to make a future removal easier. I would say don't worry about cable length at all. There's more than enough to go any route you want and then some. My only issue is the plastic tab inside. If it was thicker like the original, then I would have given this a 5 star rating.

Broke in a couple months! Not too sturdy, points way too far down
Well.....it works, the kit was put together well, I've already started having problems opening my tailgate because the lath release is very flimsy, and I really do not like the angle at all, points straight down and I really don't get much of a rear view, more like a trailer hitch view, which is helpful but very limited. I don't know if any of the others are better, I'll keep this one due to the installation hassle, but I wouldn't suggest it to others.......UPDATE, iyd been a couple months and the camera has already quit working, the door handle doesn't want to open half the time, and u am just totally disheartened by this product. Worst part us that since the cable is proprietary I can't use it in a replacement camera thar might be better, so I'm just stuck buying routing and installing a new camera and cable.... really messed up by buying this!

Installed on 2016 F250
OK so I'd say this cam is decent but only time will really tell how it holds up so for now I'll just say it seems decent. The install was not to terribly difficult although the instructions leave a lot to be desired. The one main gripe I have though is that the cam is off center and so when you're backing up to attach a trailer it's tricky to tell where you are in relation to the hitch from the ball.On my previous 2015 F150 with the factory cam it was NOT off center and there was a line down the center of the screen that made it very easy to line your truck up.

Perfect fit
Easy installation. Camera view is very very good, even at night. Looks really good on tailgate.

Crystal clear image, easy install
Looks great and fit was as good as oem. Installation was pretty easy. A wire hanger will make it easer to snake the wire through the tailgate. Hardest part of the job was running the cable the length of the truck. I decided to run the wire through the rubber grommet going into the firewall behind the master cylinder. I also tapped into the reverse light wire behind the drivers tail light and then wrapped that wire plus the camera wire in 1/4” auto loom. So far so good. I delivered some furniture today for a family member so I had the chance to use the camera when backing up into her driveway. I posted some pics of the tailgate handle and the camera image on the screen. I have a 2012 F150 xlt. Hopefully this helps! Lastly, my headunit allows me to remove the backup guidelines so that is why they are not pictured.
