No drip salad dressing bottle
Leifheit Glass Salad Dressing Bottle 10 oz is exactly what I was looking for. I had been making salad dressings in a canning jar which was incredibly messy! I looked for awhile to find what I wanted and stumbled upon this salad dressing bottle. I am so happy to find a bottle that is of great quality, is glass so can go in the dishwasher and easy to use. When mixing a vinaigrette that requires shaking up the ingredients, this bottle is mess free! When pouring the dressing, there are absolutely no drips! The bottle even comes with recipes which is helpful and a great value for the money.

Excellent dressing shaker
Great quality-I love that it is glass. The recipes on the bottle are convenient and helpful. Easy to clean and open. Great value for the money. The seal works just fine. Make sure to put it back together the same way you take it apart. Simple and easy!

Nice but lid leaks a little
This would be five stars except that the lid leaks so there’s always just a little ring of oil residue that gets of the table whenever we use it. But it’s a very good, strong implement otherwise.

Awesome salad dressing shaker!
We've had this for about a month now.PROS:- has measuring marks. Now I can make the dressing without any measuring cups at all.- glass- does not leak. I suspect people with leaking problems have reassembled it incorrectly after washing. Or maybe they're counting the little bit that goes onto the lid if you don't wait for it to finish pouring before you try to cap it. I usually give it a half turn as it finishes pouring to ensure all the dressing drops end up back in the dispenser. Zero on the mouth or lid. My husband doesn't, so he gets a drop on the lid/mouth area every time he pours it.- Fits in the fridge door easily- Contains enough dressing that we don't have to constantly make more. Granted neither of us are dressing-drenchers- Doesn't leak when we shake it (I shake vigorously in an up-and-down motion). We make miso dressing and the miso tends to settle, so we shake it with each use.-Opening is big enough that I have no problem putting a teaspoon or more at a time of miso in the opening without getting any on the rim or outside. No mess!CONS:-Haven't found any yet. Will update if we become unsatisfied with this product in any way. And by that, I mean I expect this product to last at least 5 years while functioning in the fashion it is right now. If you see no update, assume it's still fine.

Brilliantly simple and effective design + quality materials
Finally -- someone thought about The Salad Dressing Problem, and solved it.The most important thing: no spills, drips, or leaks. The clear cap on top rests on a small silicone funnel. This seals the container for shaking. So shake, lift the clear cap off, and pour. About one drop of dressing slightly wets the center basin of the cap (and doesn't go anywhere), and the funnel produces a very clean pour: the last drop drips right off into your salad. All the dressing just goes where it should, and stays where it should. If you're a fan of thick, goopy American-style dressings, you'll probably want to stick with your plastic squirt bottle since they don't really "pour". But if your taste is more for traditional liquid dressings, you'll be delighted. And the four or five recipes (with measuring lines) printed on the glass in both German and English make it easy to put together a fine dressing. This shaker / server makes dozens of the other gadgety ones look totally ridiculous. You know, the ones with all the moving plastic parts for stirring, the parts that inevitably break, don't clean easily, and can't go in the dishwater because they'll deteriorate. Save yourself the trouble and nonsense. There seem to be other shakers with a similar design, but this is the one with recipes printed on, not just a single scale of liquid measurement for you to figure out.I look forward to giving one of these to my sister-in-law who is quite the gourmet cook, but has never managed to find a really practical salad dressing bottle, just silly gadgets. Such a simple problem, finally solved!

Perfect for Salad Dressing!
I can tell you I had a couple salad container bottles that were horrible! The lids kept breaking and the dressing would leak everywhere. I found these and they don't leak! I shake it up, and then even after pouring it, the shape of the spout protects it from leaking all over the glass. The shaker comes with handy measurement markings, so I can easily measure out the ingredients without the need for extra tools or utensils. Plus, the wide opening makes it easy to add ingredients and clean afterward.Whether I'm making a classic vinaigrette, a creamy ranch, or a zesty citrus dressing, I can easily mix all the ingredients together with just a few shakes. I love that it comes in a glass bottle.

Perfect size and no leaks
The size is great and no leaks. I have a plastic one I was using before and it was so hard to clean. This one is easy to clean, I add a little Dawn soap and the oil comes right off. I’m purchasing a second one for my daughter. It’s so much healthier making my own dressing. One caution DO NOT pick jar up by the lid because the lid pops off easily otherwise it works really well.

Design Flaw with the black top, too slippery to remove easily. Needs improvement.
The black threaded bottle cap really needs a gripping surface in order to remove and refill the bottle. When using almost any dressing the surface becomes slippery and nearly impossible to remove for refilling, washing or cleaning. Any 1st year design student would know to put grooves or a knurled surface on that plastic so it can be removed easily. We had to buy a new dressing bottle after our jar opener broke the plastic cap. Other than being expensive it's a good bottle. It would actually be worth the $25 if the cap worked better.
