We keep these handy for bird and wildlife observation. The power is excellent for what we do at home and on vacation.

I purchased these for an Alaskan cruise and was generally quite pleased with them. They were a little heavier than I had anticipated, but the optics were clear and I was able to spot quite a bit of wildlife with them. Yes, you can get less expensive binoculars, but honestly, these will last for years to come. Never had issues focusing and they worked well for me when I removed my glasses. If I had one negative to say, it is about the lens caps. They don't fit tight and are easily bumped off. Thankfully, we just used these on our balcony, but if I was taking them out sightseeing or hiking, I would be worried that the lens caps would easily go missing.

The clarity is excellent and the wide angle covers much of the football field. These are simply a good purchase and I am completely, and even more, satisfied. One note, these glasses are heavier than most that I have used but that is likely because of better lenses.
