This is not manufactured in Tennessee. Lodge is manufactured in Tennessee. I know of two other cast iron cookware manufacturers in the United States. They both extremely nice, they are pricey. American Skillet Company is in the process of making state shaped pans (7 so far). The other American company is Finex (the skillets are gorgeous and high quality. This brand is made in China.

Q: Rusted inmediately. what am i suppose to do? the deep pan is heavily rusted even though the frying pan is perfectly fine. i followed all instructions.

Hi, thank you for your interest in our Cuisinel products! Cast Iron rusts easily for numerous reasons; the main being that it is left with water on it and not fully dried before it was put away. A few simple steps can return the skillet back to its original appearance. Use some mild dish soap and try to take off as much rust as possible. Next, season the pan by rubbing a light layer of vegetable oil covering the entire pan (inside and outside). Next put into the oven on 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for one hour. Let pan cool off. Q: How do you season cast iron ? What temp an for how long ?

I was told this to season or reseason a cast iron cooking pans coat with oil all over put in oven at 350 for an hour works every time and works well. After washing and drying what I also do is wipe with oil heat the pan up wipe with oil. if you are careful you won't get burned if you are clumsy get a pair of silicone gloves for oven use.

Versatile

I only use this 2-1 Multi cooker to bake rustic bread. This cooker allows me to put the dough in the skillet lid or the the Dutch Oven itself. The set is of very good quality and I would recommend it to home bakers.
