I installed it on the door between our garage and kitchen to stop bugs from getting inside while still allowing airflow — and it works exactly as advertised.Installation was quick and easy. I measured the inner door frame to make sure I had the right size (mine is 35 x 80 inches), and the fit was spot on. The included adhesive strips and push pins made setup smooth, and the magnets line up perfectly for a secure seal every time the screen closes.The screen feels durable and well-constructed. We liked it so much, we ended up ordering two more — one for our front door and another for the garage side door leading to the backyard. Installed in less than 10 minutes by myself. Super easy to do and super adhesive Velcro tape.The only thing I would change, if I were to order this again) is the height and length that I bought. I bought it to the size of my door, but since we have a 5 inch step down, it would be better to have it a little longer and wider do not only give wiggle room as you go through it (it’s a little snug with that top secured in), but to also remove the little gap at the bottom that is there and allowing bugs to get through (did you send you one that’s a little bit wider and longer than you ordered… I just need a bigger one than I thought).In the end, this is exactly what I was hoping for. The only now drawback that I see is because there is very little wiggle room as you go through, since it’s tacked at the top, if we ever decide to move we’ll have to take this down (good luck getting a couch through this!).

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Just installed this 98"×36" unit and I will say i find the quality to be very good. The glue on the velcro is very sticky and it came with enough tacks to do the top and one side that was needed. I do wished it had just a few more tacks, but I feel like what it do come with will last years. The one we had before lasted 3 years and it did feel as well made. For $30 I don't feel like it's a waste of money. Magnets are strong and our dog ( a shepherd) has no problems coming in and out of it. I will update the review in a few months if anything has changed.

We recently purchased a small place in the NC mountains that sits above a small waterfall which we enjoy the sound of even inside the house when the doors at the back deck are open. I think the place has very few bugs and flying insects so leaving the doors open isn’t a problem. My wife, however… The solution was to add a bug screen to the double door opening.Easy to install, the bug curtains do work quite well. We like how consistently the magnets connect each time after passing through. Our dogs—who love to sit on the deck listening to the falls and watching the wild life—quickly discovered that they can just walk through the screen curtains.I will admit that I was skeptical at first but this product has proven to be effective, easy to install, and a cost effective way to deal with bugs and still keep the doors open so we can enjoy the outdoors.

This is an amazing product! My dogs tore through the standard slide screen door I had and I knew they would do it again if I replaced it I found this one and it’s been a game changer. Super dog friendly and people friendly too! The Velcro tape and magnet closure are both super secure and durable. I would by this a hundred times over if I needed to!!

Love love love these!!! These save me from hundreds of flies!!! The install is a little tricky. You will need heavy duty tacs. Compare the price of a screen door to these . . . These are a much better deal! The magnets that hold the sides together work well. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase.

I had tried a black one before but the colors clashed with the white sliding door and it did not work for me.I'm SO glad I went for the white because even more light is allowed to come in making my kitchen brighter, breezy and my dog comes in and out without those pesky bugs.Previously my dog hated the sliding door being closed so she was smart enough to open it and it was a constant battle at home with the door open and bugs coming in. Now I'm loving that we're all happy!The only 2 negative things are:1) my metal door frame catches the magnets so it also stays open more than closed when my dog goes inside the house, but a quick "kick" snaps the mesh door closed again.2) I didn't feel like i had enough thumb tracks to properly secure it to the wooden frame because I really did not trust the velcro it came with. But I had some from the dollar store that did the trick. The thumb tacks it came with are great quality and the gold matched nicely with the white! Now it's securely fastened and I'm expecting it to last a long time for me!Yes, I'd recommend!

Read the instructions and you can't go wrong. I just installed my screen door and am every pleased with it. I thought I was buying one with tie back for when the front door is closed and the wind picks up, but I evidently did not buy that type. I think the tie backs would be very helpful as we have a lot of wind here. But, I will see how they hold up in a storm.
