I didn’t know what I was missing until I tried these water chestnuts.
I did not know what I was missing before. I tried these. I love water chestnuts, but have only ever seen them sliced. These diced ones are so delicious and add a really nice texture to food, eat soup, stuffing, or whatever. These cans are also the perfect size, so I don’t end up using half and wasting it.

Evenly diced
I make lumpia (Filipino egg roll) and the receip calls for water chestnuts. I have used slice, but really wanted diced. I found these originally in an Asian store in Merced, CA while visiting family. I promised to make them lumpia. These were perfect! I couldn't rember the brand when I got home, so I ordered another brand and they were very uneven and not really diced. I called my sister as we didn't use all of the cans I bought and asked her what brand it was. I then ordered them on Amazon. I have not been able to find them in the Asian market I get my lumpia wrapper from.

Came Thru When I Needed It
Needed water chestnuts for my Thanksgiving Broccoli Rice & Cheese Dish... couldn't find any in the grocery stores... ordered & received in a few days.. Great quality & saved the dish

Not as advertised
These water chestnuts were supposed to be diced. They are whole chestnuts not even sliced which would have been more acceptable

Many uses
This arrived in 2 days. All the cans were intact - no dents. The BBD is April 2025 so shelf life is more than a year.I like this brand as the dice is an easy bite, not too big.I use diced water chestnuts to add crunch to a lot of things: stir fry, fried rice, salads, casseroles. It's handy to have in the cupboard. My local store doesn't have this in stock all the time so I was glad to be able to get this case delivered. I now have them whenever I need them.

Unfortunately, the cans all arrived so smashed and dented as to be unusable.

Tastey addition to asian cuisine or rice based dishes
Geisha is an excellent brand, and as for water chestnuts: I love adding extra to any Asian dishes I prepare or rice based meals (walnuts and water chestnuts together give the rice and meal a tastey punch).Great price point, high quality product. I highly recommend this brand. Diced makes the chestnut better in foods, a nice edible size.Sometimes I have bought off brands but notice the water chestnuts have little flavor. I am pleased as punch with the Geisha brand.
