It’s a XLR cable. I’ve never bought one before, so Idunno how it stacks up in value or quality. It works!I didn’t know you could run a mic cable over a power strip, but it will pick up the electric noise so don’t do that and you’ll be just fine.

I was looking for a long XLR cable but at the same time I didn't want those flimsy or hard to bend type. This was perfect because I ended up not using the full length of the cable and I was able to tuck it in nicely on the side of I'm not using the the microphone. I don't have any issues with noise or anything, it's perfect for my Podmic and MV7+ microphones.

I am not sure how else to say that it's a good choice for an XLR cable for gaming. I only use my microphone for playing games and chatting through discord or in game, so I can not speak to professional audio use. However, this cable provides a good quality sound and also looks and feels great. I dislike traditional rubber cabling and since this has the nylon around it it's great for someone like me.
