Greetings fellow amazonians, unlike most reviews i've read of this product i musta got a wednesday one cause it's workin great. the inside of the tank was clean. i wasn't short of parts, assembly was EASY. I filled the tank with 25 gallons of fuel then tested the pump by sticking the fuel hose into the tank fill tube and started cranking the handle. the pump primed after a few rotations and started pumping fuel, no leaks from the tank, fuel pump assembly or hose and the fuel level indicator is even accurate. i will top off the tank to 35 gallons on my next trip to town. Now i have plenty of fuel for those late night visitors (had a few) that run out of gas or the lawnmower, snowmobile or other gasoline powered devices.UPDATE: spoke to soon i guess. the caddy fuel level indicator stopped working when the float filled with gasoline and sank to the bottom. you can see the pinhole in the float ball that caused the issue. probly not a bad idea to remove the float assembly and check for this sort of thing before you put your caddy into service. it would also be a good idea to fill it with water to check for leaks before filling it with fuel. i gambled with mine by not doing so. i contacted vevor and they said they would send me a new float assembly. i will update this review when/if they do, stay tuned.FINAL UPDATE: 4/30/25 VEVOR sent me a new float assembly for the level gauge so i'm gonna restore the 5 star rating and two thumbs. pictured are some mods i made to the caddy. i replaced the clear hose with a fuel rated hose with 3/4" NPT fittings and a fuel nozzle i sourced from amazon sellers. the clear tube gets hard and inflexible after a while so i pre-emptively changed it. lastly, had i not destroyed the packaging then filled it with gasoline before checking it for leaks i probly could've returned it through amazon if i had problems but since it was basically unreturnable i opted to replace the faulty part and thankfully vevor supplied me with one. going forward folks, don't destroy your shipping container and make sure to leak check the product with water before filling it with fuel. One must take into account the price point for this Fuel caddy, reasonably priced for what you get. I gave the unit (35 gallon, red, hand crank) 4 stars, could have went to 5 stars with a bit more effort from the manufacturer, but then the price would have gone up. From reading and watching videos about the problems some have had, I spent a couple of hours going through the entire unit. This included taking the pump apart and sanding the rough edges from the rotor and vanes and applying oil as I reassembled, the instruction manual says to put motor oil in pump after each use when pumping gasoline, (gasoline not being a lubricant). I have messaged Vevor for clarification, but have not heard back from them as yet. The retaining ring that holds the filter in the fill pipe didn't fit due to rough edges from stamping process needed to be sanded smooth to properly seat against its stop. All in all not too bad, remember the price point! At the end of summer I will reevaluate and report further.Received this reply from Vevor Support: If the hand pump gets stuck, you can add a few drops of engine oil to lubricate it. I purchased two of the caddies using for my 3 kubota tractors and 3 zero turn mowers for gas and diesel. This was a smart purchases, saving time and trips to pump stations.

DO NOT BUY! Horrible dispensing system, literally no shut off once it starts fueling. The other reviews can not be written a by a real purchaser. Even if I get rid of most of the fuel I have in the caddy, imagine to empty it completely and packaging it up to where it will be safe to return. I am stuck with it as it illegal for UPS or FedEx to pickup an item dripping of gasoline, needless to say it’s huge. Of course the mfg (Vevor) will not talk to customers on the phone. Stay away from Vevor period.

When i opened the package there was damage to the product. I made a call and it was taken care of promptly. I have 2 of these units and they work great. I gave 5 stars because the customer service was wonderful. I will purchase again

Bought two of these and both of them arrived broken Amazon did give me a discount on them and overall these are pretty well-made. I can’t say the same thing for the 30 gallon red ones that Vevor makes.

Build quality feels great. No leaks but make sure you use the included thread tape and you’ll have no issues. Pump/crank is about as fast as pouring from a 5 gallon gas can. Has filter at the end of the tube which is great. The fuel gauge is spot on. Wheels feel sturdy. This is a great gas caddy.
