Great product
Hair stylist ruined my lovely blonde hair by putting a really dark shadow root on, which I didn’t want or ask for. I’ve done two rounds of the colour remover and it’s lifted the horrible dark colour out. My hair does have a slight brassy colour to it but nothing a toner won’t fix. I’m so pleased I’m back to my blonde as I hated the shadow root. Agree with other reviews that this stuff stinks and my hair did feel really dry, but I used a hair mask which fixed the dryness. Great product and I would definitely use again.

It’s works, however I had to use twice.
I don’t really leave reviews however don’t buy anything without reading the reviews so thought it’s only fair I leave one for this.I had to use this twice as the first time it didn’t really take as much out as I had hoped. After years of colouring my hair the colour build up was baaaad and my once brown hair was jet black. I followed the instructions and advice from the reviews (rinse for 30 mins or longer if you can without getting bored, wrap hair in cling film and towel, I also sat in front of the fire) Yes it does have an eggy smell, but, I wouldn’t call it horrendous like a lot of the reviews said, however I live with 3 males and 2 dogs so maybe I’m used to horrid smells lol. The first time my hair didn’t smell the next day, however the second round I still had slight eggy smell in hair the next day, but, I didn’t rinse as long so that’ll explain it. I was slightly anxious but prepared that my hair would be damaged after, however, my hair is in lovely condition. Both times after rinsing out I slept in a conditioning mask and my hair is lovely and shiny. I highly recommend this colour remover. My hair is now back to brown (and grey but we won’t talk about that) I also found it easier and faster to pour the product in my hand rather than squeezing from the tip as comes out sooo slow.

Safety. Effectiveness. Dryness.
I had two coats of red. Manic panic and arctic fox on virgin. unprocessed healthy hair. I don't use heat on it or even blow dry it these days and i keep it in braids too.I had to go two rounds for colour removal. My hairs to my butt. And unfortunately after using this product despite using bond builders, deep conditioners, protien treatment, and oils after to nourish my hair. It's snapping off and my individual strands have a gritty texture. This also caused damage to my throat and lungs from inhaling it. Leading to burning, tickling and occasionally coughing after. I had to put on a face mask when applying. But it only helped so much.No product that can damage your hair is gonna market it as being damaging to your hair. But this is. Make no mistake. My hairs duller, brittle and tangling a lot since using it. Considering how long it took me to grow my hair. I'm obviously upset. Especially that i needed to use it twice. I expected it to ve dry after. But this level of damage is really upsetting. It says in the manual that it can be used upto 3 applications. Thankfully i didn't need a third.I am glad the colours gone. But at a heavy price.(Update) Multiple washes and masks later. Whenever my hair gets wet. It REEKS.I followed the instructions washing this out to a T. I've washed my hair 5x and used multiple mask treatments on my hair after and it still stinks! I'm sitting with a mask on my head under a shower cap days after using it and the smell is awful!

Happy with colour removal
I had previous black hair, red hair with bleacb highlights. And used many boxes of red hair dye so wasn't sure how this would turn out. It removed lots of previous colours so I am happy. It does smell strongly of eggs. But washes out okay. Hair is a lot drier afterwards but I expected that. Hopefully using the right conditioning products will help.

Very effective and super gentle on the hair!
I bought this for my daughter who takes a lot of pride in her more than waist long hair. She was left with permanent pink residues in her hair after having used the 'temporary' colour drops you add to a conditioner to colour her hair pink. She had left it in MUCH longer than advised to get better results, but unfortunately this also meant that instead of lasting 2-12 washes, it wouldn't all wash out even after 6 months and she was left with an all over pink hue with the odd clearly pink streaks. We have tried ColourB4 as recommended by our hairdresser, and also the home remedy where you mix vitamin C with anti-dandruff shampoo, but to no avail. Nothing helped. As the ColourB4 hadn't done anything, I didn't expect this to either, but as my daughter said, "With a name like that, you just KNOW it's going to work!", and it sure did. There is not the slightest hint of any pink what so ever. And, to my great relief, nor was there any damage to her beautiful hair. It is still just as soft and glossy! There is only ONE downside with it. It really does stink. And it doesn't just smell while you use it. The smell lingers in the hair many washes later, and while her hair is still wet, you can actually smell it in the room my daughter is in. But fear not! Once it's dry, it's fine. Just a hint when you bury your nose in her hair, like freshly permed hair from back in the days! A bit like a walk down Memory Lane there... 😁Bottom line - I would definitively recommend this product. It works exceptionally well, and with no damage to my daughter's hair, it is worth the temporary smell. Happy customer!

Better than others
Works better than another brand I tried previously. It started working pretty quickly. Didn't strip all the colour though despite me having quite thin/shortish hair and leaving it on for the whole hour. Maybe I just didn't rinse it well enough, who knows.Biggest negative - the smell!Don't believe those who say it doesn't smell bad - it STINKS. So much so I went out to buy drain unblocker/deodoriser as thought my drains were bad - it was the smell of this packaging in bin! 😁But pleased with result as was easy to work with and is at least light enough now for different colour.
