Solid construction.
I have now purchased three of these. I love them. They are well made and sturdy. The drawers can be removed easily. The last one I had 3 drawers spare so I purchased adhesive blue velvet felt liner . It came the exact width and now I have 3 extra jewelry drawers. Very happy.

Better made than others but needs a little finagling up front--
Full disclosure-- I already have 5-three drawer boxes like this by another brand. I use them to hold my large colored pencil collection which grew exponentially during the time spent surfing art supply stores during the shutdown. This is the best method I've found to keep the pencils sorted by brand and color. I keep a plastic silverware tray nearby and shop the drawers when I'm working on a project where I keep them sorted by color family until the project is complete, then replace them in the drawers for storage. When a pencil gets stubby, I reorder and keep the new pencil with the stub. The other five boxes are all the same brand and still for sale here on Amazon but they're now prohibitively expensive. I knew I needed 8-10 more drawers and finally settled on this one based on reviews. Also, I liked the idea that all 9 drawers were in one case as my others tend to slide around on top of each other. My other boxes came with some issues like drawer fronts that needed to be reglued and staples that came loose so, honestly, I was hoping for better construction this time. The box came well wrapped with no damage, however, as others have mentioned, I was unable to removed some of the drawers. The drawers were uneven and stuck but I finally realized that there had been some shifting and settling during shipping. I removed all the drawers, rearranged them until all but two fit nicely and flat against the box face, then sanded the edges of the last two a little. You've got to have the drawer level and *just so* when you slide them in with no slight turning to either side. They need to be straight and level. I sanded again and now all the drawers are opening and closing smoothly. At some point, I'll do as others have mentioned and get a little beeswax on the sides and it should be good to go.The construction is excellent. The drawers are well made and much sturdier than my others. I like the runners along the sides and the groove in the side of the drawers. The box is actually finished and looks great. And I really like that the dividers slide in and out freely and are *not* glued in place. So yeah, even though it took a little finesse to get them straight and in order, I'd buy another.

Waste of money
This would be no stars if I could rate it that way. Wasted money on this, thinking it would last way longer than 6 months.I was so excited to get this to organize my many stone cabochons. For several months it worked out well. The drawers stuck a little but still usable. It's been a few months since I last opened the drawers. The one drawer I wanted would not slide out. Then I saw the warping on both sides. I struggled but got all the drawers out and saw the back was cracked and bowed out. Pictures show the cracks and warping. Also, the room I had this in is not humid...or my metal stamps would be rusty. And in the summer it doesn't get hot. Definitely look for another storage solution other than this.

Good but...
I purchased 2 of the 6 and 2 of the 9 drawer. both the 6 drawer ones worked fine right out of the box, the 9 drawer ones did not , i had to do some sanding and applied a bit of petro jelly on the guides to get them to work ok. for the price the build quality is good for its intended purpose to hold pencils and such, if your looking for something to hold the crown jewels of England look elsewhere. The only other down side i guess is if you want to stack them there is no peg/pin to lock them in place, you could use some double sided tape or mod them. They are worth the price even if you need to do a little work, and yes i would/will purchase again. ...4.5 stars

I wouldn't buy again.
I had previously purchased a 6 drawer version of this, probably from a different supplier. While it isn't exactly a piece of fine furniture, it was completely functional for holding and organizing colored pencils. I needed more space, so I bought this 12 drawer version. A mistake.Either the case or the drawers or both are out of square. It's bad enough that the drawers will stick and be impossible to move unless you take out the drawer above and below (or whichever ones will move) so that you can grab ahold of the entire drawer front and wiggle it side to side to unstick it. That's despite the drawer front being very sloppy in fit. The drawers also do not go all the way into the cabinet on one side, leaving an unsightly gap there. The handles on the front are too shallow to be able to hold onto- the prior one I bought had ones that were probably 2-3 mm deeper, and are big enough to hold onto. I ended up putting cup hooks into the front as handles to pull them open. The dividers in the drawer are so short that they will barely catch both the drawer front and back, and there is enough play that they easily move out of position. It's barely usable junk.

Drawers stick!
Of the 12 drawers two are stuck shut, three are difficult to open and close. The rest of the drawers are fine. Dividers for separating pencils a plus but really crappy drawer pulls. Manufacturer could easily solve the defect by cutting the pulls in opposite direction. Too difficult to grab on to. You end up opening them from the edges, using both nands.
