This was very good value for money. It was easy to replace and does the job. Only time will tell if the lower cost is reflected in the lifespan.I would recommend this.

Good kit. I wasn't sure if these would fit my Cardale Prima door as nothing on the door says it's a CD45 and the sticker on the back of the door describes it as something else. Decided to take the plunge and they were the right ones for my door. It would be handy if these came with instructions but plenty of information is available on the internet although some instructions differ from site to site. You won't have a problem fitting if there is some decent space next to the cones but if yours are like mine with brick pillars then it's best to lock the right hand side off with a crook pin and NOT mole grips to be safe because as soon as you undo the top bracket the tension in the spring forces the moles grips down. If these came off I feel the tension in the spring would be lost. A crook pin would add just pennies to the cost. I had mole grips at both sides to be sure. I also found the star washers to be inferior and the left side broke when fitting, possibly as it's slightly undersized. The bag supplied was also split and it could have been easy to lose one of the roll pins or star washers, hence only 4 stars. Apart from that all works well and took about an hour to do both sides

Does the job alright on a 35 year old garage door. Best tip do a google search for fitting instructions, as this helps.

Quality product........changed cones and rollers on both sides in around 1 hour......retensioned the spring and all is working very well again.Would recommend product and quite an easy day job......Full details on how to do the job was easily found on you tube and well,worth a look before starting
