I have fine hair and it can be pretty static and flyaway with certain cheaper shampoos. I generally use high end products to prevent this. I wasn't sure what to expect with this shampoo but was very pleasantly surprised... The shampoo itself is a bit thinner than the one I normally use but not by much. It has a very mild scent, almost undetectable (which I appreciate!).It lathered in normally and rinsed out easily. I used my usual conditioner.Once my hair was dry, I was shocked that it felt fuller but not in the way that some volume shampoos make the hair feel frizzy and tangled. It felt really, soft and was definitely shiny. Yet there was a thickness that I get only from a very high end product.. I think the thickness was due to the lack of static. My hair was able to stay together and so felt thicker. Weird but true!!It is possible that this was due to the simple change in shampoos (sometimes a change up in product can breathe new life into my hair). However, having recently been in a situation where I had to use a lower end shampoo and having static hair for days, I can say with confidence that this shampoo is a quality product...As for the packaging... I applaud the eco nature of it; however as other reviewers have noted, it is awkward to use in a shower. Not sure of a better solution, however it may need some modification...Possible sell this package as a refill package for an existing bottle??Overall, if you are in the market for a good quality, high end shampoo; I would definitely recommend giving this one a try...

This shampoo pours easily out of the low-waste sustainable packaging. The top is secured with a tamper-proof cap that once opened is easy to open and close. The shampoo is a fairly thick, opaque cream and doesn't make a typical bubbly lather but rather a thick creamy lather. The scent is light. I massaged it in all over my head (about a quarter sized dollop) and then rinsed it out. It did take a bit more effort to rinse out than my regular shampoo. Once my hair dried, it did not feel greasy but due to the thickness of this shampoo, I only used a light conditioner. My spouse tried the shampoo also and said it was "ok. Kind of viscous. Did not rinse out easily." I applaud the low-waste packaging but it does make it a bit harder to use. The package is a little awkward in your hand, the shampoo pours out fast and I was a bit worried about spilling. I am considering transferring to another bottle.

I have to admit that, given the extremely expensive price for an 8 oz shampoo, I had high expectations. I thought that I would see a noticeable difference from my usual, mid-range shampoo. Unfortunately, the difference that I noticed was that my mid-range shampoo gives much better results. Three family members tried this shampoo and we all had the same opinion. I used it with and without conditioner and, both times, I was really disappointed with the results. I have normal/oily hair, my spouse has normal hair, and my child has drier hair. In all of our cases, this shampoo seemed to strip the natural oils from our hair, leaving it dull, lifeless, strawlike, and lacking the shine that my mid-range shampoo provides. I applaud the eco-friendly packaging but that is about the only positive I can find for this shampoo.
