Love it. I just wanted a smartwatch that didn't spend most it's time on charge. If you want functionality and long battery life over gimmicks and the ability to see visual media then this is for you. Every now and then it needs to be powered off and back on as it occasionally looses a function like heart rate. Battery lasts me around 14 days. The solar charge is useful. I went camping and forgot my charger so I just left it on my dashboard and got an extra 4% which got me out of trouble.Strap is comfy.Buy a screen protector as it scuffs very easily but I'm a builder, might be ok if you're not digging trenches etc.

Watch is great, don't have to charge it often.

I wasn't aware at the point of order that this was a refurbished unit. However, the unit arrived considerably before the estimated delivery time, and it was in a Garmin Refurbished box, with no original packaging. It did however include all necessary paperwork and the charging cable.The watch itself functions perfectly. It had about 65% charge out of the box.2 apps need to be downloaded to your phone to make best use of the various features and widgets on the device, and indeed this is where you can make the watch your own. I've yet to explore all features, but it seems that all fields on the various watchfaces can be customised to best suit your needs, and a huge number of third party designs, apps and widgets are available.Be aware that the Garmin Express program will need to be installed on a PC/Mac for firmware updates, and that some features may not be available until this is done.Navigating the watchrs menus is not exactly straightforward, although all basic functions are easily found. You will need to do a bit of menu -diving to explore some of the options and features.The solar charging seems to work, though typically it's been cloudy since I took it out of the box. With a 21 day standard battery life though, it's not a huge issue.Overall I'm pleased with the unit, despite it being a refurbished item it appears brand new and functions as it should.

I was quite worried about battery life for this watch as in the description it says min 80% battery capacity. The watch exceeded my expectations when it comes to battery life, I tested it for several days and battery life was way above 80% yet sadly after a few days the solar charging stopped working and I had to ask for a refund.
