JSAUX USB C to USB Adapter 2 Pack, 180 Degree Angle Type C Male to USB C Female and Type C Male to USB A Female Adapter, Compatible with Steam Deck, Switch, ROG Ally, VR, Laptop, Tablet, Mobile - Gray

For anyone wondering, these are compatible with the Skull&Co Gripcase for Steam Deck. It’s a snug fit, but definitely compatible. They seem well made and make the power cable look nicely ‘tidied away’. It has the added benefit of relieving some of the tension/stress from the USB C port on the Steam Deck. Bit expensive but, in my opinion, worth it.

The box came with a 180 degree usb-c male to usb a female and a 180 degree usb-c male to usb-c female adapter (shown in picture). The latter can be used directly with the Rog Ally and the Rog ally factory charger without purchasing anything extra.The adapter prevents the usb-c cable from bending while using Asus Rog Ally as a gaming handheld device. It should also be compatible with Lenovo Legion Go although I haven't tried it myself yet.Using the Rog Ally as a computer or with a docking station might not necessarily require the adapter as the cable would likely be facing outwards and it's unlikely to be moving.Unfortunately after only 2 months of using the adapter the cap that covers the circuitry became loose and fell off. I haven't smashed, or let the Rog Ally nor the adapter fall so I think this could be a factory defect. It would be nice if I could get a replacement from Amazon or Jsaux so I can check myself if this is a general problem or bad luck / one off. On the bright side the adapter seems to work fine despite the cover being loose. It can probably be fixed with some glue but still it should not have this issueThe good- can be used with a silicone cover (shown in pic)- prevents the cable from bending down or to the sides when using the Asus Rog Ally- the usb-c cable does click securely so it doesn't disconnect easily with movement (not too loose not too tight)The bad- the adapter cover became loose on its own with light useI'd have given 5 stars if the cover could stay in place without having to use glue.Hope you find some of these findings from my experience helpful and this can help you decide 😎

These make holding the console much easier with the cable not protuding out the top. Great!

I bought these for my MacBook, worth every penny.

The adapter doesn't fit all cases, I'm not sure it even fits their own case but it works without so just double check to make sure. If you don't use a case, you can buy without worry.

A bit expensive for what it is but I like that they are a little bit more chunky and sturdy then some other generic ones you can get. Also, a little bit more expensive and one of them needed to be glued after the top popped off, but nothing superglue couldn't fix.

Makes playing the steamdeck while charging far more comfortable.It fits on securely and stays in place while in use.I coupled it with an extension cable and it makes the steamdeck experience much more comfortable.I would recommend.

You'd think if JSAUX were going to sell a 180º USB C adapter, they'd at a bare minimum make sure it was fully compatible with their OWN cases! Does not fit the JSAUX Steam Deck ModCase PC0104, unless you completely remove the kick-stand unit. How embarrassing! Other than that, it does what it says on the tin, so 3 stars.
