I can't decide if I like them. They are comfortable, but they do seem to bunch up on the front of the ankle. They are much thicker than a compression sock, and the compression is very mild bit it is there. I think the thickness makes you feel like it isn't compressing, but it is. I would not call it a support though. They don't do anything for stability. It's possible I need a size smaller. Since this listing doesn't have a sizing chart, I went to the manufacturer site and used that. From what I measured, the biggest size should have been a little small for me, but the tops are loose and they bunch up in front.Update: I decided to measure my healthy ankle and measured it with the toes pointing down like the measure instructions on the website and sizing videos instead of flexed like I'm standing on it. Turns out I'm on the high side of a XXL and not the top end of an XXXL. I contacted the seller at their support email and they replied in less than 12 hours and are sending me a smaller size. That's 5 star customer service for a 5 start product in my book.

I've got a case of Achilles Tendonitis and needed something to stabilize my ankle. I tried some of the compression sleeves I bought at the drug store and found them only so-so. I saw these on Amazon and ordered them. I am glad I did. They provide noticeably more support than other sleeves, seem to be of good quality and, by following the measurements I made of my foot at the manufacturer's suggestion, they fit very nicely. They survived the wash very well and didn't lose any compression ability. If you are in the market for something like these, these Modvel sleeves are worth a look.

Nice and tight on my ankle. 4 stars because its almost too much/thick for my shoes then.These were a must have when I started running again. I didn't want a little ankle trouble to stop me. The reviews are true on this. Its a win!

I was about to make a doctors appointment but was scared. They usually want to inject or recommend surgery. Fee based medicine today. Fortunately, I gave the sock/ brace a chance and it worked! I broke my ankle—tibia and fibula and tore two ligaments and ordered this product. I absolutely loved it and ordered a second pair! Two come in one box. It is like a compression sock, but not as miserable. Through my healing process there are times that I try to go to sleep without any support on my ankle and if I have any trouble falling asleep from the pain, all I have to do is slip this on and it makes it instantly comfortable.I have a lady size 11 foot and I ordered a large. It’s perfect. I highly recommend!

This is a tough one to review... I bought a pair of these several months ago (September), and they gave my ankle and foot immediate relief (from peroneal tendonitis). My foot was feeling so much better, I actually stopped wearing a brace on it. Then I re-injured it in March, so I pulled out my brace again. I'd only worn one of the two that I received, but now I'm wearing them every day and working out at the gym in them, so I wanted to get more. I ordered a different color, so I'd be able to distinguish between the new ones (pink) and the ones I've had for months (black). I ordered the same size, so I didn't bother to try them on when I got them. The first time I wore one of the pink ones, it felt a little big and was not providing as much support as I expected. All night long it kept sliding down and bunching up in my shoe. When I got home I compared an unworn/unwashed pink one against and unworn/unwashed black one and the pink one is almost a half inch bigger around. Unfortunately, I've had the pink pair too long to return them. The thing is, the black pair is amazing, and really helps my foot a lot. So, I'm actually ordering another pair. I will try them on immediately and if they don't fit as expected, I will return them. I'm not sure if the product was changed between September and March, or if there's variation in the manufacturing process for the different colored braces, or if there's just little quality control in the sizing. Live and learn... Try it on! When they fit they are great. When they don't fit they're a waste of money.

Oh I like these! WAY easier than the old school roll wraps that never stay in place and seem impossible to get the right tightness. These are easy on, easy off, and I could wear shoes with them. The compression was tight but comfortable enough for all day wear. It's a nice even compression and had just the right amount of support. Machine wash and dry, like new after much usage. Well worth it for us "balance challenged" individuals who will for sure need it again. And again.

Bought this after spraining my ankle. Used it for support until I went to the doctor where they gave me a more supportive one to wear. I’ll probably go back to this one as I heal more. Only complaint is that it seems a little thick and warm. Doesn’t breathe as much as I’d hoped. Decent compression though.
