This set went off direct sale from Amazon briefly and has come back at what I'm sure is a higher price, which has slightly thrown me as I was going to rave about the value but now it's comparable with similar sets. At £6.99 this was incredible value, at £17.99 it has to compete with sets from recognised brands with more sockets.That said, this set does seem to be very good quality, I used it to change my car brake pads last weekend, a job I'd have normally used a larger set to do and it performed admirably, even when I used a breaker bar on a particularly stuck bolt the ratchet showed no sign of slipping. The mechanism was smooth and precise and the direction lever stayed firmly in place while loosening or tightening bolts. The sockets are held firmly on the ratchet by a button operated ball bearing mechanism meaning that they never get left on the bolt head which is handy when you're working in awkward places with limited access. and while the handle lacks padding or non slip grips it's comfortable and fits the hand well, plus the simple handle design does allow the use of an extension bar although I'm sure the manufacturer wouldn't advise this and if you broke it that way it would be on your own head!The sockets themselves are well made and hex design rather than 12 point. Much less likely to slip or round a nut and bolt but bare this in mind if you plan to use it in the garden as they won't work with coach screws or similar square headed nuts, bolts or screws, rare, but you do occasionally come across them. Speaking of which, it seems a shame considering that this is a small set, that almost half of it is given over to Imperial sockets, I can't remember the last time I needed one and I bet that's true of 99% of people. If you do own an older British or American vehicle that needs them it would be a small extra outlay to buy a set specifically for it. In a general set like this a few more metric socket sizes would be more useful.Instead of the more usual plastic case this set has a frame to hold the parts, it takes up a little less room but to be honest strikes me as a bit of a gimmick, I don't dislike it, but I don't think it gives a massive advantage in space saving and I'd be concerned about how secure everything will stay in the long term.At it's current price this is still a very good set, the quality feels excellent, you're are getting what you pay for and if the range of sizes is sufficient for you I think you will be very happy with it and get years of usage, just be aware that it is quite a small set, especially since most people will only use the metric sockets.

A decent well made usable little socket set for a good price.

Had to use it to dismantle my wife’s work computer table, and it did a great job very pleased. Would recommend to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really good set and I love how the socket lock onto the ratchet. Im hate when you remove the ratchet from the bolt and the socket is still stuck on it, well this is locket onto the ratchet and can be attached or released at a press off a button. Great design and would work very well when you can use both hand on the job.
