The Defacto Subwoofer for Small Spaces?
I purchased the Kali WS-6.2 because I recently switched my amplifier and the new amp (Lyngdorf) would no longer bring my KEF KC62s out of standby mode at low volume. I tried everything to make the KEFs work correctly, but they just wanted to stay asleep with the new amp. Hours of emailing with KEF and Lyngdorf and reading articles online did not solve the problem. The KEFs also never sounded quite right with this amp. I think this was due to KEF's DSP being always on and possibly creating cascading filters from my new amp's room correction. My apartment is small and there is not much room for a sub. I had only a few options I was considering to replace the KEFs. I wanted something small (less than 12" x 12") and powerful (500w) with an always on mode to avoid more issues with coming out of standby. This left me with the choice of the Kali WS-6.2, the SVS 3000 Micro, and one of the small REL subs. After a lot of reading and watching videos, I chose the Kali. It's not the prettiest subwoofer, but the reviews and the specs (especially the sensitivity at low volume) convinced me to give it a try. I'm so happy I did. After connecting the Kali and running room perfect, I was shocked. This thing immediately sounded amazing. It's super musical and integrated incredibly well with my main speakers (Monitor Audio Silver 100 7g). It sounds insane and is so much better than what I was getting out of the KEFs. I'm not sure what the magic is here, but it's working for me. Listening to familiar music and everything sounds just right. I started playing things with deeper bass to see what this thing could do. I tried Shabazz Palaces "Lese Majesty", Books "Lemon of Pink", Talking Heads "Speaking in Tongues", and other albums. So good! Now all I want to do is go home and listen to more albums. I never had this experience with the KEFs due to integration issues. I don't know what else to say. I do wish the Kali had a prettier enclosure. Other than that, if you are considering the Kali for yourself, just buy it. It's seriously good, even if it isn't the prettiest.

Wow!
Iām just blown away of how clean it sounds! Big sound in such a compact size. Really worth the money. What I also love about it is the foot-switch feature. Get it, you wont regret it! š

Sq but not powerful
Great SQ but plateau's at mid volume, while distorting under load.

Fantastic sound and amazing customer support.
First, I'm pairing this with another pair of Kali Studio speakers, primarily for gaming and listening to music on my computer. I can't believe how clear and well-defined the sound is. The value of this combination and the sound quality are fantastic. There are lots of good reviews out there, so you don't necessarily have to trust my opinion; these speakers and the subwoofer score well. It's all about clarity. And never underestimate the importance of amazing customer support. I asked some simple questions and got immediate responses; they weren't one-liners; they were thoughtful and meaningful. Great company!

Small size - BIG Sound!!
I'm continually amazed that a sub this small can put out the quality and impact of lower bass tones in movies. If you're limited on space, and can get this one located behind the desk or on the sides = win!! We've been enjoying movies and it plays nicely with the T5v's from Adam Audio!

Best Studio Sub under $1000
Best studio sub I've heard under $1000. I've tried the JBL LSR310s (boomy and you hear cabinet noise), the Adam Audio 8" (thin and not very dynamic), and even the big brother Kali Audio WS-12 (electrical hiss). Very impressed with what they've managed to do with 6" drivers.

I had to leave a Review for this ...I purchased it From another store Because i had a Huge discount in coupons ,I was worried it would be cheap I never heard of this company I paired it with Yamaha HS4's for my main computer setup along with a Scarlett interface ..You will need 2 sets of Cables I chose XLR .This Sub is Studio Quality No hums No hiss Nothing just bass and it hits hard for its size twin 6 inch .Im very Picky for my sound I own 3 Audiophile Room setups in my home Wilson Sophia 3 Mcintosh With all Reference cables .Im very Picky for Sound .This sub is great for any Studio Monitors I also Own the Yamaha HS8 and they really dont need a SUB but for my main PC i had to have it Gaming and Guitar Playback along with just listening to Music ..No Complaints so far I wanted the Yamaha matching sub or the Adams but this seemed like it beat them both in true Audio SINEwave tests ... If your even thinking of it check the reviews Its a very good studio Sub .You can even purchase a footswitch to tru bypass the sub .I have them crossed over at 80 Hz ..
