Makes My Tummy Go Yummy!
Makes My Tummy Go Yummy!Love these Bamba snacks. My first order was back in December 2016 - first try, and wasn't sure what it would be like. In general, I like the flavor of peanut butter so thought it would be a fun alternative way of having a puffed version. (By the way, I am an adult, not a baby, as many other reviewers are writing with their babies' feedback.) ;)So, when I opened my first bag, I thought they looked like a lighter, more yellow/tan color than the organge cheese puffs (Jax); also shorter in length of each piece (a bit more innocent, I suppose. No strong scent in the bag. Lured it into my mouth and "crunched" or more like "munched" as it is not very crispy but more like a wispy munch, gentle for toddlers or even elderly missing teeth. First split second, I didn't taste much of anything...but then, the wonderful peanut buttery flavor filled my mouth. It's a light, little cloud of bliss filling your mouth. And so innocent ("All Natural Ingredients") and light.I highly recommend it, and I think you'll love it! (Though perhaps not those who despise peanut butter; it is also a light type of peanut butter, much less than if you eat actual peanut butter by itself.)If helpful, here are the Nutritoin Facts on the back of each bag:OSEM: Bamba Peanut Snack, 0.7ozIngredients: Peanut (50%), Corn, Palm Oil, Salt.Calories: 110, Calories from Fat: 60Saturated Fat: 1gTrans Fat: 0gCholesterol: 0mgSodium: 80mgTotal Carbohydrate: 8gDietary Fiber: 1gSugars: 1gProtein: 4gPerfect for a little side part of a snack, but I recommend NOT to eat right after having a strong flavored other food/drink, since this has a subtle but pleasant taste. It may be harder to taste if you just ate another heavy tasting product. But definitely no where near a full "snack for an adult" in amount. Nice size to carry around or store though. And for places that take the aluminum bag wrapping, recycle please. Now, the down side (which does not take away my rating in the product): The price!I thought for a very simple pack, that $4.16 for an order of 1 bag of 8 small bags was affordable, but thought that it would drop in price. Nope. Amazon, just about a month later, the day before my next monthly Subscribe & Save price shot up - lucky I checked. It went up each day all the way up to about $7 a bag! Crazy. Was not happy with this. I called up Amazon, and they said that though it was on my monthly subscription and had been $4.16 when I ordered it, they could not control or change the price for me even though it was upped last minute right before my shipment. Doh! So I gave in and waited all through January, and then all through February, bumping my order date later and later in the month. Missing it so much, I couldn't wait another month so ordered. The price was "down" to $6.08 for Subscribe & Save, which is still significantly higher than the $4.16 in December, but with the extra discount for large order, went down to a little less than $6.I received the box, couldn't want until the end of the day to relax and enjoy...and oh I did! Loved every bite. Caution, may be impossible to eat slowly or make it last. :) And have a napkin by your side while eating as you will get the powder covering all over your fingers. You will also likely suck on each of your fingers after picking up the puffs, so wipe before you type on the computer!*[Update on following paragraph today, April 15, 2017: It must have been that batch that was impossible to open without scissors. This most current batch of them, I can open with my hands; thus if you get this round, then your kids or little ones can still snitch then up and open sesame! So look out! ;) ] And a silly but true warning - you can't rip the bag open when you see the zipper like top and bottom of bag. It just won't rip when you try. You have to do the classic pry open holding either side to open, or grab a pair of scissors. So if you are worried that your baby or very young toddler loves it so much that they run to the pantry and sneak a few bags, they may not be able to open it. So, in that case, you gain an extra bag for yourself.Enjoy! And hopefully this Bamba snack will become more commonly purchased and popular to the public so that the US will import much bigger and sell for a lower price to buy in quantity.

Tasty light snack.
My new favorite snack. They are basically peanut flavored Cheez Doodles, but lighter.

Tasty and easy
I was a little worried about the contents being crushed since it just arrived in a plastic bag, but every single one has been fine! Such an easy way to introduce peanuts to your baby, and I sure don’t mind snacking on them either…

Recommended by my pediatrician
During our baby girl's 6 months check up, my pedi recommended giving some form of peanut to our little one. We were puzzled by her recommendation because I thought no peanut until they are like older because of peanut allergy?? Pedi said staying away from peanut was done years ago and recent studies found exposing children as early as 6 months actually would prevent them from having peanut allergy. And she specifically recommended Bamba, an Israeli peanut snack.Went everywhere for it and didn't find any at any stores, of course Amazon would have it, right? And it's under $5 for 8 little packs that lasts us for days. We gave to our now 9.5 months old baby when she was 6 months, and luckily, no peanut allergy~~ These little peanut snack has a crunchy texture, kinda melts in your mouth, and about 2 inches in length, kinda like little baby carrots in terms of size, my daughter was able to hold onto one.Would recommend, a good snack even for adults. Although our little one didn't get allergic reaction from it, I would recommend you check with your pediatrician before giving to your child just to make sure.

Great way to introduce allergen to 6 month old
I was so nervous to give my 6 month old peanut butter, and then someone told me about these snacks! I am able to give my child small amounts of them often, which research says is the best way to introduce allergens.I like having the little individual bags that I can carry in the diaper bag or my purse for snacks while we are out of the house. The go stale relatively quickly once opened, but stay fresh in a ziploc bag. My older kids love them, too!

Puffs VS Snack
Bamba is our favorite Israeli snack. My son grew up on this. We still buy and eat it a lot. However, about a year ago they changed it from Peanut SNACK to Peanut Puffs. You would think, what's the difference, right? Well, if you eat it often, you would notice. I don't know why, buy when it was called SNACK, it was less oily, less residue on your teeth, more flavor. After it became PUFFS, there is more oily feel and smell, there is a heavy greasy residue that remains on your teeth.Just NOT the same as it was before.I have no idea what they changed in technology, but we all noticed this change in taste. So, when I saw this product on Amazon, the first thing I saw that it was called SNACK on the picture. That's why I ordered it, though it was the same price as in my local Ralph's.Guess what.... Disappointment.....So, in case you are like me, craving for old Bamba Snack, don't even bother. You'll get the new version... Greasy residue on your teeth and oily smell.I did not get Snack (old batch), but I got PUFFS....
