RHINOCATS 400Pcs Small Magnets, 4 Different Sizes Tiny Mini Magents, Multi-Use for Fridge, DIY, Office, Hobbies, Crafts and Science

I bought these for use in my 3D Printing projects to remove the need for having to connect parts with 3d printed latches/hinges/etc. I was hoping to find square but found these instead and the price was right (I think under $10). Now I cannot stop thinking about magnets. I've made several designs using them, ended up needing a few of them for items that I lost the magnets for while building, and also just have fun in general using them like little fidget toys. I ended up buying another pack of just the 6mm because those are pretty strong. Definitely going to be getting more.They work well when directly connected. All the things I used them in hold well and can usually find each other pretty quickly as long as there isn't too much in between them. Using the 4mm magnets, I've been able to get sometimes 4mm distance between them. This is while making a hole in my 3D Prints to be able to push them in, so about 2mm on each part connecting. Even when them enclosed in a pocket, they still hold well, but the 6mm seems to hold the best. Your best bet is to keep stacking them if you need more strength out of them or to go to bigger magnets if you aren't able to get the hold strength you need after about 4 or 5.

I got the combo pack of round magnets, and they measure within 1.5% of true. After trying about a dozen different varieties over several brands on amazon , the typical small cylinder neodymium magnet on amazon is 9-15% too thin, so this is a standout product line - sad but true. For RHINOCATS diameter for each size is : 5.95, 4.98, 3.98, 3.02. They should be 15% stronger too, based on material volume. The photo shows 20 count of all sizes are the same height: 39.6/20= 1.98mm. Excellent!

It's a lot of magnets for a little bit of money. I needed 2 to fix a part of my coffee maker and these did the trick. Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do with the other 398. No matter what it fixed my problem and I didn't have to by a new coffee maker.

Use them in 3d printing and they function well for that. They appear to be dimensionally accurate, though I didn't check all of them, just enough to double check. Packaging leaves something to be desired, mine showed up in a metal box with foam leaving a big ball of magnets to go through. They stick together and stick to metal, so they work, not the strongest but they are small so, not really anything against them.

Ordered these for random 3D printing projects and it's great to have a number of different sizes for all projects. I've only utilized them in a few but they've been great. Strong and simple, they work nicely in any random project that needs that magnetic connection. High strength stuff.

These work great. Now all my screwdrivers are magnetic. Invaluable when working with the tiny screws on my laptop and destop computers.
