Grinds nasty weeds and algae out of block paving, no problem!
Hadn't cleaned our block-paved driveway for at least 2 years, so consequently there were hard-packed chunks of blackened moss in the dips between the blocks. Raking them out with a 'wire-brush-on-the-end-of-a-broom-handle' tool was an absolute back-breaker. We'd also worn the last one down to a stumpy nub, so went in search of a new one at the local B&Q. Saw an expensive (>100 quid) Ryobi one, and wondered if Einhell had one in their catalog... YES!I have a few of the Einhell 5.0Ah batteries, plus a small 2.0Ah one, so thought I'd give this a try. The nylon brush wheel is perfectly capable of chewing off dandelion plants and small clumps of grass, but it was hard going on the solidified moss. Time to break out the steel wheel! This thing blasts through any plant matter in seconds. It took a couple of hours to do the entire 70m^2 driveway, but I wasn't destroyed at the end of it. Tool seems to have held up well, despite the hammering we gave it. Lasts a long time on the 5Ah batteries (went through about 1.5 of them for the whole driveway), but the 2.0Ah drains relatively quickly.Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo before the grinding + jetwashing, but it was CHOCK FULL of grass, weeds and moss. In the future, it will be a breeze to crack this thing out and whip away any weeds that appear.

Works well
Useful as it saves the hard work of manually cleaning paved driveway. Already had battery which fitted so saved some money.

Some assembly required!
I could hardly wait for this to be delivered, and eventually, once i was about to have a GnT, it was! Excitedly i opened the box, and to a little dismay realised that i needed to assemble it, this took all of 10 minutes, then i took it for a test drive. First impressions? It’s brilliant! This is going to save me so much back breaking work cleaning in between the paving slabs that some nutcase previous owner installed in my back “ garden” The thing is basically self propelled and is an absolute doddle to use, and like all my other Einhell cordless tools, is excellent quality. I swithered about buying this for more than a year, I wish i had bought it much sooner!

Some assembly required
Does a great job, the wire brush is probably best for tackling stuburn weeds.Took 2 minutes to assemble. My only gripe was the box the item came in looked like it had been through a war zone.

Great little device.
This is a great device. I had been using a wire brush and it was back breaking. I do have a few Einhell tools with batteries and charger so this wasn’t an issue for me. I found that if you work backwards in the groove it is much better. Battery lasts a long time. I had tried the Lidl version of this but brought it back as it wasn’t very good. This one is very good. I would highly recommend it.

Works well, not a complete solution.
Requirement: Indian slate - mixture of 300, 600 & 900 x 600 laid on sand extending old crazy paving laid in concrete separated by a line of setts also laid on concrete. Seams invaded mostly by grass with some dandelions. The gaps between the slates can be weeded by lifting but this is really something to be combined with re-levelling them after they've settled. The sett to sett & sett to crazy paving are particularly difficult and can't be lifted.Bought the Einhell because I already had the battery & charger. Delivered from Germany a day early. Arrived in just manufacturer's packaging, not wrapped & the box was a bit battered. It might be this that led to one of the guard fixing screws being missing hence the loss of a star overall & on assembly.Combined with the Spear & Jackson 5253PK knife I'm making good progress. Neither is a complete solution but together they do a good job. Oddly enough the combination manages to loosen occasional tufts of grass which can then be easily hand-pulled yet neither of them removes it. I'm being left with deep-scoured joints which I'll be able to grout.

Pretty useless!
Pretty hopeless and very under powered for the proposed use
