Formula 1 Mr.Leather 615163 Spray Cleaner and Conditioner (473 ml)

I used this on my 1 year old SUV with leather seats which had many dirty spots due to sweat & dust accumulation. This product worked really well on even on the toughest stains. Note that you'll have to rub the solution into the seat vigorously if the stain is old and prominent. I wouldn't say it cleaned it 100%, but it did do a fairly good job in renewing the leather in feel & appearance. On lightly stained areas, a simple wipe with minimum effort is required to clean the surface. I am very satisfied with this product. I will be adding this to my regular car maintenance routine.

Let me tell you how I used it to clean my leather seats. The cleaning power might not be as strong as other products which are expensive in the market, but still it does a good job. Things you might need: A Horse Hair Bristle Brush (You can get a Cheap One in the market which is used to polish your shoes). Just make sure that the bristles are soft enough so that the Brush does not cause a wear on the seats.Always wear gloves so that the cleaner may not irritate your skin.1. With the help of a cloth, damp your Leather Seats with Hot Water.2. Spray some of the Cleaner onto your seats and spray some on the Brush too.3. Now slightly rub the seats with the brush with a gentle force. You can now see that the dirt starts to come off the seats.4. Wipe off the dirt with a Microfiber Cloth.5. Spray a some of the Formula on a Fresh Microfiber Cloth and rub it towards your seats. Better not to spray the Cleaner directly on the seats the second time.6. You can now see a shiny coat of Conditioner on your seats.7. If you don't want that extra shine wipe your seats with the Dry side of your Microfiber cloth.

Applied this product on one portion of my pure leather sofa,the surface of leather became smooth and thin which was not acceptable, hence stoped using ,check out the two pics of sofa before and after. You may see the natural lines of sofa is disappeared but that perticular surface was fully stainfree

For a long time, we could not find a good leather cleaner. Either they are so mild that dirt is not removed, or so severe that there is discolouring. This one is just right. To be sure, this needs a good amount of effort, but the point is it works (see attached photo). Also it helps if one uses a microfibre cloth while wiping dry. For really soiled surfaces, applying the product twice (i.e. two iterations of cleaning) is more effective. In the attached photo, the right armrest is visibly cleaner than rest of the sofa; it took two applications of the product and a considerable amount of "elbow grease" to achieve this. We ran through one bottle (nearly half a litre) to clean two single seaters; but it is worth every rupee of it. (Some time back we hired invited professional cleaners but they gave up). One note of caution: There is a heavy amount of oil in the product - the cloths used to clean remain slightly oilly after a couple of washes as well; also the area where the cleaning was done remains slippery for days. So it is best to spray on small areas and maybe spread newspapers around the item to be cleaned before starting the process.

Very bad product. Colour of leather products is coming off

Cons first: Does not clean well. I have a cream colored genuine leather sofa. The product hardly managed to remove any stain of prolonged dust from the sofa. In fact, Colin glass cleaner or Cif Cream Surface Cleaner did a much better job in terms of actually removing the accumulated dirt and bringing back the original color of the sofa.And now the pros: It has a lovely leather smell (though it doesn't last too long, particularly if the sofa is exposed to sunlight like our's is through the large french windows). It leaves a nice and even shine on the leather (be careful of droplets falling on the floor tiles - they remain slippery for a long long time and requires more than a few washes with detergent water to take the oiliness off the floor).So now we have planned to use something else to clean the sofa periodically, and as the last coat apply this leather cleaner - or should I call leather shiner cum conditioner.
