Buy it!
I’ve had this massager for a year and I would highly recommend it! I have had multiple eye surgeries and with recovery comes a majorly sore neck from having to sleep sitting up. This massager helped me so much I even bought one for my mother who has neck strain problems. It is also fantastic deep tissue massage for back pain - I set it up against a pillow and lean on it and it’s just amazing. I’m so glad I have this!

Great massager
Bought this for my wife as part of her Mother’s Day gift. She loves it. Her and my daughter use it a lot! It’s not very heavy compared to others. It’s built very well and powers through neck pain. Highly recommend

Almost Perfect for Seniors - What you need to know!
Pros: The rating for me is closer to a 4.5 but I can't round it up at this point without giving it a detailed review as to why I purchased it and what the cons are, especially for Seniors like me. Ideas are suggested in pros/cons section. This massage unit is unique in that it allows the user to have more individual control as to which area of the body you want to work on first. It's also simple to use, easy to slip your hands in the loop (needs more loops) to rest your wrists and arms as it goes to work. Firmly kneads those sore areas from the upper neck to the lower back while sitting on your own chair or couch. It also helps if you wear a soft t-shirt while using it as you need to physically adjust the placement while you're using it. I also use a large, thin pillow that helps the angle of my sitting position. It has an automatic warm heat function as soon as you start it up, but with a touch of the button you have the option to turn that off and the roller massager (2 large and 2 smaller balls) continues to work for a maximum time of 15 minutes before it automatically shuts off. If you want to restart it, just touch the button located on the top part of the loop and it will repeat the procedure. Personally, I find the 15 minutes to be adequate from neck to lower back, but if I want to use it on the soles of my sore feet, I'll turn it back on for about 5 minutes longer before shutting it off again. The cord on this is not long enough to reach my wall plug, so I also purchased a surge protector with a 6 foot length cord so that it could run under my chair nearest the wall to help prevent the risk of my tripping over it. My balance is extremely poor due to vertigo and poor vision in very dark rooms so I take great care in such situations as I am elderly. I will also leave a positive review on the surge protector for those interested.I do recommend this unit for the Seniors who have osteoporosis and muscle injuries as long as you can use your arms well. I find it works best for me when I am able to use the back of my chair to assist with the placement and pressure needed to control the unit so my shoulders can be relieved of the full weight as it is surprisingly very heavy! I've never needed to increase the speed or the strength of pressure and always have kept it on the lowest level possible due to the inflammation in all of my joints. Bear this in mind if you are still athletic and young! I can only imagine that this unit could easily handle whatever your need is for strength in deep kneading ability.I'm also pleased with the noise level during operation, which is minimal for me. Should it develop groaning sounds that other reviewers mentioned, I would agree that it should be considered defective and do not use it. I've only been using mine for a week, so it's a 4.5 rating for me at this point. If Amazon allows me to update this review later, I will do so, especially as to how long it will remain useful to me. Hopefully, I'll get at least a year out of this one. The price is reasonable at under $60 and I'd probably purchase it again when I need a replacement. Hope that helps folks decide if this is right or not for you.Cons: This would be a 5 star rating if the sleeve loop where you slip your hands/arms to control the placement and pressure needed had at least ONE additional hand loops so that it would be more comfortable for different lengths of arms! Also, this would allow the 4 control buttons to be placed lower on the end to allow you to see it without having to crane your neck to see them! I have fairly short arms and I still can't see them. Usually I have to take it off of me completely just so I can turn it on or off. That's just annoying and would be very low cost to improve the functionality and ease of holding it. I hope the manufacturer reads this because I would definitely purchase it again with this improvement!

VERY Nice! Reviewed after several weeks of use.
The media could not be loaded. Deep tissue massage. Very positionable. If you are sensitive to being squeezed on this may not be the unit for you although you can easily adjust through position and pressure. It does grab and squeeze nearly as good as what someone’s hand could do if they were really going to pinch your neck muscles strongly. I love this aspect of it. One reviewer said she was in her 70s and it was not OK for older people. I disagree although if you’re at all brittle or frail then you must use with care. My 70 some-year-old mother is going to be getting this in a couple weeks and she is going to love it, but she’s not a lightweight. When you have neck pain that almost causes a numbness care needs to be taken regardless, (but this has addressed my pain greatly in between my weekly, micro-adjusting, chiropractic visits I started a month prior. I teach on zoom now 5 hours straight+ with 2 to 3 screens and I haven’t been able to look over my left shoulder while driving since August.)It also reverses directions at least 2 to 3 times during its process. I believe you can also change the directionality and you can turn the heat off while it’s running. The arm straps may be short for some but very well-made and very comfortable and you do not have to utilize them for it to work well. Although, you will likely want to at least put a little bit of pressure so the unit stays in place and hugs your neck a bit more while it’s working. The cord is short. The chord comes out of the unit and the plug connects near your left hand to the AC lead and the connection is not tight. I have not had any problem with it falling out but when taking it apart there is not much contact keeping it together. You will have to sit close to an electrical source.I’ve use this a couple times a week for the last couple weeks. The intended part gets warm. I’ve smelled something while or after it runs a couple times, but it’s not bad and I do believe I caused it by pushing against the unit as it’s running or if I ran it multiple times after the automatic shut off kicked in. Durability seems to be quite good, but I don’t know if it’ll puke out on me in the next couple weeks especially after I’ve pushed against it which could ware some part of the gear down. This is just speculation at this point and after reading some of the negative reviews. As with any electrical item care has to be taken in the way that you treat the cord and the connection and the unit itself. I don’t toss the unit around at all and I don’t ever pinch the cord against itself or pull on it.Out of the box and after several uses I can definitely attest to the quality of it especially in light of the price. It’s very solid and the details on it are very nice for what they are. (e.g. The ends of the zipper run are covered.) The bag is made out of the same materials as the unit’s arm handles and again for the type of materials used they are put together well. I don’t see any issues with stitching or pieces coming apart in any area.As a regular Amazon user and someone who knows that our little tech items are not know to work long-term, I will update if anything changes.

FINALLY, THE PERFERT MASSAGER!
I have suffered from neck and shoulder pain my entire life. STRESS! I finally found the perfect neck and shoulder massager, especially for women. The reason I say this is because women typically have narrower necks than men and this item gets right into the facets on both sides of the cervical vertebrae at the same time. The roller balls are large enough to dig deep and it's a well made powerful massager. I'm going to buy another as backup, since nothing lasts forever! PHENOMENAL!

Excellent for neck pain treatment
Very flexible to use. I use it daily on my neck before stretching exercises to treat my neck range of motion.

Used to be great, currently the quality is mid
This used to be an amazing massager! I had my first for over a year. Since, then, in the last year, ive needed it more and more because I was pregnant. The massager broke down all the time!!! It started making a clicking sound and then the latest one- totally came apart in just a couple weeks! Can we upgrade the quality on these please....
