The 4 poles were placed around the deck to help get lighting up! They are a REALLY good size to keep those lights up above head level and we can easily walk around and under the poles and lights now. They can also be removed as needed which is an added bonus to be able to modify the size.

Honestly these worked great for our bonfire pit outside. Super tall and easy to assemble. They are definitely sturdy enough in a wind storm, so you don't need to worry about that. Only issue I had was with one piece not going onto another because the end wasn't perfectly round but if you screw different variations of pieces together, eventually you find ones that fit like in my case. I'd recommend these and buy them again.

These quality light poles were easy to assemble. The fork style bases hold them sturdy in the Kansas wind. They look very nice and festive holding my string of solar shatterproof Edison lights around the edges of my new patio in my front yard. These hold the lights at a height that allows the lights to light up the area very well. I'm also going to buy a set to put around my pool.

Good! Quick and easy way to hang string lights. Ours have a tilt/lean no matter how we put them in the ground. But they are sturdy and I have no fear of them falling. Does the job!

Broke as soon as we put them in the ground. They are not made of strong metal. These are aluminum. If you hang lights with any weight these will NOT work. We tried hanging the Sam’s club lights around the pool and these bent as soon as one side was hung. Had to return all 8 and now we’re cementing wooden posts in the ground

They’re alright but tilt if you don’t secure to a fence or railing. We put a conduit pipe inside to reinforce it. I expected to be able to use them freestanding.
