I've never used a matte lip because it always looked dry or made my lips look wrinkled or the color would change up. Saw a review using this, thought i'd give matte another try and i'm glad i did. This goes on smoothly and stays on. Feels a little sticky at first but after it dries you do not even feel like you have liptick on. Go over with a quick light gloss during the day and you're good to go for several hours during your work day. Love it, great neutral natural color.

Love the color. And these stuff STAYS ON until you wash it off. I've put it on in the morning - drink coffee/tea, water all day including meals of all kinds. You want to put it on and then let it dry for at least 15 minutes. Not too thick. It is a tiny bit cakey. It is very matte as most of the 'stains' are. It doesn't taste or smell weird. It does tend to dry out your lips. So I recommend night time moisture. I did try a number of colors but this one is the one I use the most. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. One of my favorite products right now! Its long lasting and looks amazing. Ive bought a few of them. Wish they had a deeper red color but aside from that these are great. Smudge resistance:I have eaten with it on, I have fallen asleep with this on and it was untouched. Quality:The product is smooth. You only need to apply a little bit or you can layer it for a deeper shade.Longevity:Lasts 24 hours, dude.Stay on:It's easy to clean off but can stay on for a while.

Update:does not last 12 hour for wear, it actually lasted 6. The matte lipstick (besides black or gray etc) stood on all day. This lip stain will wipe off and leave an outline of chunky color behind. Great if you have time to reapply throughout the day. I have all male coworkers and so I finally looked in the mirror at work and realized judt how much this wipes off lolThis is perfect, I recently bought cover out last and it wouldn't try quick enough to put the top coat on and when the top coat wears off after 30min if you don't reapply it, it looks like chunky lip crumbles. This from Maybelline, whose lipstick I use for the matte ink, this stain is prime time. I love the color, I love that is has a softer look than lipstick for work, and it lasted me all day. Will be a repeat purchase. This is awesome!

If you want a color that doesn’t budge and will last through every assorted food and long hours and hot weather, get this. I literally ate 6 tacos with salsa and beans and rice and worked a full 8 hour shift and drank a medium drank from a straw and not once did this color stray a bit from my lips. I even had to scrub it off when I got home. This color lasted me 10 hours and probably woulda stayed for days 😂 the colors are beautiful and I intend to buy every single one.

I edited my review twice, it is initially sticky and does not distribute well, but it definitely lasts after a few minutes and lasts a long time.Using a separator lip applicator is more convenient allowing for smaller lip gloss to be used, otherwise it is way too dark for this particular shade.Once it’s applied, it’s worth the process, since it is indeed very long lasting and rather smudge proof.

As a fan of Maybelline’s lip products, I purchased the Teddy Tint #30. The wand was a bit dry and I wondered if it was a bit old or not full? However it doesn’t feel too sticky and the color is pretty. So I plan to keep it.
