This book is an essential tool for teachers working with EAL students across different age groups and subjects. The authors break down effective strategies clearly and practically, making integrating language support into everyday classroom activities accessible to all. The layout is well-organised into three parts, A-C, focusing on theory, practical techniques and ideas to support families and learners beyond the classroom.I particularly liked the authors' insights into the challenges EAL learners face and the practical solutions offered. There are also really helpful, "over to you..' questions added throughout the book which encourage the reader to think about how the information provided applies to their teaching scenarios and how can it be implemented and/or adapted to suit the needs of their students.Highly recommend it, whether you're new to teaching EAL learners or an experienced educator looking to refresh your approach.
