Time Will Tell...So Far, So Good (sorta)
All of the small twigs sprouted as promised. We let them grow for 2 weeks in water then planted in our herb beds for a couple of weeks to really take root before putting them into the ground. While in water, the roots can literally grow near an inch a day. Admittedly, our ground is not ideal ... we planted in a 2 foot strip of dirt which contains lots of rocks and located directly between our foundation and a sidewalk. In the right location, I can see where these do indeed grow many feet per year but, unfortunately, we don't have ideal conditions. We planted 12 pieces last year and lost about half of them over the first winter in Pittsburgh. The pictures attached are from the same location beside our house. The larger ones were planted mid summer last year. In the pics, the largest are about 8 feet high now (again, since mid summer last year) but those biggest plant are located under a warm air fan exhaust ... so these definitely thrive in heat and need a ton of water. There are a couple others that are about 4 feet, planted same mid summer last year, but not under heat producing fans. So, for most people, that's probably closer to an "average" experience. You can also see the very small ones, perhaps 18 inches, which were just started about 6 weeks ago (those little guys replaced the ones that died over the winter). These are attractive plants, can be pruned to any desired width and can be shaped as desired. Given the price, I highly recommend trying these for anybody who wants quick hedge screening.

Watch the video
Very confused by the negative reviews. The name if the company pretty much says it all. Cuttings- not seeds. Not live trees. Yes the look like twigs. That’s what they are supposed to look like. Also, they have tons of YouTube videos explaining the best way to plant these, including the fact that certain types of soil and miracle grow will kill them. I’ve had no issues with mine and was quite happy with how quickly they arrived and how they are growing. The sent me 11 instead of 10. I only had one that was slow to take off. I have them in the “paper” pots that you can plant in the ground to protect them from my dogs and when they are big enough I will finish putting them in the ground. If you are unsure of how to plant them, look up the company’s videos. They will help you with step by step instructions and info about the best soil and fertilizer to use.

Twigs In Water Is All I’ve Gotten From This…
to start off, I will definitely have to pay better attention to my middle of the night purchases! I searched for bamboo, as that is what I wanted but while skimming the star review numbers, this option showed in the feed. with such great reviews, I made the purchase and my package arrived, expeditiously — with no damage to the treelings (as we were still in 110 degree weather). I read all of the literature provided as well, scanned the QR code provided with the literature (this is when I discovered I had not purchased bamboo, nonetheless, these willows I received were shown to provide privacy and shade which is what I wanted). I followed the instructions, placing them in water and … they never rooted. two started shooting thorn-like sprouts then nothing.I just ended up with twigs in water! they never went dry nor were they in direct heat or light. even though I purchased outside of what I wanted, I was pretty excited for them to begin sprouting up but that did not happen. I have waited to write this review because I received these September 5th. our weather remained hot and now, on October 30th is flipping to 40 degrees. that said, I considered the timing in which I purchased these to begin planting, why I paused the review. I did buy the 10 set, receiving three extra however, only 7 were healthy size and the others were very thin so I assumed the extra three made up for the tiny 3 of 10.in all ways I dice it, this was not a favorable purchase for me. if between now and, let’s say… next spring, things turn around, I will update my review.

Inexpensive, fast growing plants!!
So far so good! Looking forward to putting them in the ground. I have about 1 or two duds which is expected. Also to counter the other reviews, I received the exact amount. Not one over or under.

Won't grow the same.
This photo shows 2 trees that were bought together, planted together on the same day with the same soil on the same ground. Only one grew bigger.
